They have best Mofungo. The owner Domingo is very nice. They also have a party room upstairs.

After trying to go for lunch at Sunset several times - they were finally open at noon as stated - other times while the sign said they were to be open - they were not. We finally found them open for lunch for hubby’s birthday with father-in-law who loves mofongo. Hubby had been looking forward to a Cubano sandwich and asked for it without condiments or pickles or mayonnaise. Son had roasted pork, father-in-law and I had various mofongo- beef for him and shrimp for me. Food arrived at different times - hubby’s sandwich came with all the items he requested to be excluded. Mofongo’s were good as was the roasted pork and Spanish yellow rice. I asked to have hubby’s sandwich redone on fresh bread without the extras - it came back with a new sauce, which was certainly not “plain” as requested. Not sure if the waiter didn’t understand the request - - but it was a huge disappointment and no offer to remove from the bill. Even at lunch time, the music was painfully loud which made it impossible to have any conversation without yelling. The left over mofongo did not taste good after being reheated, so we wound up tossing. Unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment.
