I've gone here a few times for a quick bite, and it's always DELICIOUS. You can taste all the love and pride in the food they make, most of it tasting like your friend's mom made it for dinner. The owner is super sweet and friendly, offering up new adds to the menu for customers to try routinely, and the food is fresh. It's not a fancy place, but if you want some good, tradish Mexican food, go here. Highly recommend. And as a side note, the fries are always SO GOOD.

My fiancé recommended this place a couple of weeks ago since he got the Cuban monster no jalapeño for lunch a few days before. So had him get me Two boys sandwiches In a wrap not the sandwich. no lettuce, add tomato add onion and he got his usual order. It was great the first time I had it but when he came home from work the last we got it with the same order only difference was I got a side of extra chipotle sauce. His was fine as he was supposed to be but mine was missing the avocado that normally comes in it.it was also lacking the bacon, tomato and onion. It was ok that day since it was missing two ingredients and I believe 2$ more maybe for the extra side of sauce I requested because the price was different from the first time he got it for me. The first time he got it for me was definitely better but I would definitely try more things and maybe get this for a third time and have him make sure that everything is in it this time since it is by his job and we live 20-30 minutes away.

My wife and I were told by a friend to come by and it did not disappoint! The lime fries are something we have never had and we needed some to take home! I had the Jibarito sandwich, the steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the creamy savory sauces took it to a whole different level. My wife had the lime wings which were cooked so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. And the horchata…..wow a different flavor than I’m used to but very pleasantly surprised. We are definitely coming back!!!
Also so much fun playing connect four while we waited for our food?
I ordered chicken taquitos and instead I got a block of sour scream. Barely had any cheese on it, let alone any lettuce, refried beans or anything else you’d usually get when you order taquitos. The tortilla was soft and mushy and had small pieces of what I deemed to be shredded rotisserie chicken.

Tepes is unique, the food is delicious and so is the service, every time I come I lick my fingers!! Although now where I live I can't come like before, but every time I come with my family I enjoy it, the chef always serves us very well and even gives us many appetizers!! 5 stars because it is an affordable restaurant but with the flavor of a very expensive restaurant!!

This place SHOULD BE BUSY 24/7. The atmosphere ? they got Mexican music, Mexican decoration, and you could just feel the pride of Mexico here. The food comes quickly. The workers are nice and speak Spanish/English! They even have connect 4 to play while you wait. The price is definitely fair even in this day of age with inflation.
