Historic Grounds is a Great place to enjoy your breakfast or lunch. Friendly staff, great food, big portion size, watch the vessels large and small on the Lake Champlain Canal, love this place oh and the decor and interior atmosphere is very special. A must on your list to visit in the Whitehall, NY area.

Historic Grounds is a charming restaurant located in a beautiful building. It serves delicious food, including hearty avocado toast with eggs and wonderful muffins. The coffee is fresh, hot, and strong, and the staff is accommodating. The restaurant is dog-friendly, has a nice picnic pavilion, and is wheelchair accessible. While service can be slow at times, the food is good and there are options for kids and those with dietary restrictions.
