I stopped by yesterday evening, 1st time ever being here. Line was long, it was a beautiful day but the line moved fast. I got the Williamson Sundae - it looked amazing, Williamson apple pie with caramel sauce and wipe cream. 1st bite though I could tell something was off. The apples had a sour, like apple vinegar taste, tangy - they were definitely fermented. It was gross. It's probably not something that get ordered often so who knows when they made the apples but they were definitely old and past their shelf life. Not sure who checks quality control. If you go, if you're thinking of ordering this sundae maybe ask if you can try a bite of the apple pie before hand to make sure it's not expired. It was disgusting. I would have made a fuss but the line was so long i just wanted to leave.
The owner is very nice. She obviously cares about her employees and customers. They are all pleasant and hard workers, and efficient .The ice cream is always good! There is almost always a line. 🙂
Beautiful day for a cone! I had one of my favorites, butter pecan in a waffle cone. The generous scoop was now than enough and the chunks of pecans very tasty!
Best ice cream place in New York state.
Amazingly large servings and The BEST!🤤😋
The best
Delicious soft serve ice cream. The chocolate and vanilla were smooth and thick.
I can enthusiastically say that Yia Yia's serves the best ice cream in the area and the serving size is very reasonably priced. GREAT VALUE, GREAT TASTE!!!
I LOVE THIS PLACE!
Everyone is so pleasant. They remember you at the window. They open early in the season and remain open through October. No other ice cream shop does this. I hope they always remain there.
Very good, and the flavors are unique. I ordered peach bourbon which was fantastic. Portions are large.
I was in line and I ordered a baby chocolate ice cream like I have many times before and the lady handed me soft serve. Reminder. I never said I wanted soft serve. I politely went back up and told her that I wanted hard ice cream. She took the soft ice cream back and handed me hard ice cream. And said in an aggressive tone that I should’ve said 1 scoop and not baby. It was not my fault that she magically heard soft ice cream from the little devil on her shoulder
Restaurantji Recommends
Highly recommend monkey madness if you like wafer chips, bananas, fudge sauce, peanut butter sauce peanuts
Yia Yia’s never disappoints. You may need a dish to go with your baby cone. And for the two complaints about the soft serve Raspberry, it’s Dole Whip. So it tastes like a Dole whip flavor.
Great little ice cream shop with many flavors and generous portions. The line moves pretty quick when there is a wait. Nature trail behind the shop as well. Recommend coming here for soft or hard ice cream!
Best ice cream around
