I really like it here! It is a great place to hangout with friends and I like that they have outdoor seating. They have really good homeade ice cream and many flavor options. I also love their Mac and cheese it has a great consistency and flavor. I have not tried many other food from here besides their fries but they're delicious especially the Cajun ones. All in all its a pretty good place the workers are nice and the food is good!
Never again!!! The custard is good, but I ordered a “medium” sundae which cost nearly $8. The cup it came in is TINY and the ice cream was flush with the cup. Hardly any caramel topping and it was gone in like 8 bites. It was pathetic. I see this as pure greed by making the portion size ridiculously small!! I never leave negative reviews, but I think it’s important for a business to know why they are losing a customer.
Slightly above average roast beef and good hard ice cream
We went to Anderson's for ice cream. The ice cream was excellent. The service was excellent. We were hungry so we ordered 2 double burgers and curly Q fries. The burgers we very salty. The fries we hard and very crisp. They tasted like they were old and were over cooked. I am surprised because usually the food is excellent. I am disappointed.
Buffalo classic! A must every time we're in town!
Great experience, ice cream was okay at best
I felt very comfortable dining here. The service was excellent throughout.
Beef on Weck with horseradish!!
I have been a fan of Andersons for decades but think it is coasting on its laurels. The roast beef is mostly dry now. Au jus comes in small quantities so there isn't much compensation for the beef's dryness. I am disturbed that rasberry sensation has been dropped from the menu. Service is slow and every of the last 10 or more visits something has been missing from the order. I have been to Culver's in the midwest. Andersons should hope Culver's doesn't choose to come to WNY. Charlie the Butcher and Arby's are also better. Disappointing deterioration of a good brand.
Every bite was a delight.

Anderson's is a staple of Buffalo. Great food, treats, and service!
We came here three times in one week because the kids loved it, for frozen custard. The custard and burgers are just okay, nothing review worthy. This review is about the service.
The first two visits were pleasant, with nice and friendly staff. On the third, however, a younger guy seemed to be in charge and was unnecessarily rude, both to the young lady working with him and to us as customers.
On our first two visits, we ordered vanilla and chocolate custard in kids’ size and were happily served in kids’ dishes. It was perfect for us, we know our limit and didn’t like to waste food. But on the third visit, this guy insisted that “custard doesn’t come in kid size,” claimed the previous staff didn’t know what they were doing, and charged us for a small. Ironically, when my son’s vanilla custard came out, it was clearly in a kids’ dish that we paid small for. I mentioned this to him and he said it’s because of toppings. We’d purchased 7 custards and only 2 of our custards had toppings or fudge. He tried to argue with us on that but with the big line of people, we didn’t want to argue in the moment. Reality: obviously it is possible and even natural to serve kid size custard and maybe this employee doesn’t know what he’s doing!
Lots of new staff training, so not surprised a small part of the order was wrong. They did fix the sandwich with a new one. Been a patron whenever in town.
Fast, reliable and great service
Best beef on weck in Buffalo.
