Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The food was delicious. Waitress and Host were polite and helpful. There is fun variety in their store. It fascinated my grandson, daughter, and myself

Our food was lukewarm at best, I had chicken & dumplings and they definitely were watered down. My husband had macaroni & cheese & a bowl of the new chicken & dumpling soup, very little flavor only 3 small dumplings in it . Our waitress was pleasant and told us she would mention it to the manager, but manager never spoke to us or attempted to make it right. Very disappointing for my birthday lunch!

We loving going to Cracker Barrel. Until recently, we've not had any issues with the food. But this last visit, both the biscuits and the corn muffins came out massively under baked. I mean, they were WHITE they were so under baked. They were mushy inside. We ordered a new batch and said we wanted them baked a little longer so as to be palatable. The new batch came out....WHITE again. Maybe SLIGHTLY golden but still under baked. Cracker Barrel, please increase the baking times of your corn muffins and biscuits! Don't rush them!! The prices are phenomenal as are the portions! I absolutely love shopping in the store after eating here also! Love the selection, quality and prices of the merchandise! Highly recommended!!

This place is absolute trash the management has no care or consideration for anyone that works for them they don't give their employees breaks I've watched them serve expired food as well

Food was cooked perfectly (catfish annd hush puppies. Dumplings were a bit thin. Fried apples small serving and no sauce) came out fast. Was very busy and didn’t feel very comfortable sitting in a doorway. Waitress was polite and efficient. Store was crowded and there was a huge lineup to pay. They did have three checkouts open. Got a free dessert so I asked for it to go. The piece was very small but tasted good wouldn’t have paid $5.49 for it though.

This is a good place to eat if you're a meat eater since i only eat fish or shrimp. There wasn't a lot for me to choose from, and most of their vegetables, including their side salad, all have meat (bacon bits)

Vegetarian options: I had the baked rainbow trout it was pretty good.

I'll never do business with this restaurant again!!! I never received my order. I waited for almost 2 hours, after receiving the Confirmation email, and they never brought it out. I called them about it and they didn't know that I placed an order at first. They then transferred my call to the Manager. He said my order was found and I refused to take it then, after it was sitting around somewhere for that long. I refused the order and demanded my Credit Card be Refunded. I will never return to the CRACKLE BARREL RESTAURANT again, and I wil give them a Big 0, as far as a rating. I am still waiting for my refund to my bank account and if I don't see it soon, I'll have to file a claim for a fraudulent charge. Am am very upset about this entire interaction with this RESTAURANT!!!😡
