Today was my first time visiting Fresh Catch. I got a “build your own” bowl with shrimp, jasmine rice, spring mix, edamame, corn, kimchi, jalapeños, broccoli, spicy mayo, and of course topped it with the staff recommended Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Everything was fresh and the staff were super friendly. Looking forward to trying the spicy tuna bowl next time. Would definitely recommend! The atmosphere was very clean and inviting, give it a try if you haven’t yet!

Imma say this right now. I’m a new customer off the streets & I want every one of you haters who left 1 stars to gtfoh. This place is beyond good. Price is definitely up there compared to other places that’s the only con.Regardless It was delicious & I 100% approve. Give them a chance & you won’t be let down.

First time at this establishment & I was very happy! There was lots of options to chose from & everything was fresh. There is ample amount of parking & the atmosphere inside was very bright, clean, spacious & youthful. At first I was a little hesitant on what to get but the employee reassured me that if I had any questions or concerns, I can always test try different options beforehand. I decided to go with the ceviche poke bowl which contained lots of enriched delicious ingredients like: scallops/shrimp citrus-marinated seafood, jasmine rice, spring mix, edamame, pineapple, cucumber, bean sprouts, green onion, carrots, sesame seeds, shredded coconut, & lemon basil vinaigrette. I was blown away by the quality & taste of this poke bowl. It was delicious, nutritious & light so it did not make me feel heavy or regretful after finishing it. Moreover, the two employees were very kind, patient & attentive to all my requests. They offer many dairy free & gluten free options & set out to make everyone's bowls perfect so the customer can have a great experience. I really appreciate Fresh Catch Poke & you have earned my respect, I will most definitely come back in the near future & try out some more bowls! Thanks :)

I love it here. Reasonably price. Great flavors. And in a city where we focus so much on wing flavors and pizza....something different is much appreciated! Will definitely be back and recommend. Steak poke bowl is superb!

Ordered a standard bowl with added salmon and ginger dressing. It tasted okay, but I was 2/3 through and found a long straight dark hair in it. I brought it up to the two young girls behind the counter and they acted totally clueless. The one with the long straight dark hair in a ponytail kept saying their hair was tied back even before they start their shift. They contacted their manager, who was not on site, and he offered a free poke bowl. I explained that I wouldn't be returning. I was then told that a refund would be issued with 2-3 days.
The Spicy Tuna Bowl and "Hawaii Five-O bowl" (not on the menu, but if you ask for it at the counter, you'll be glad you did). The Mac n cheese and other sides are too expensive for what you'll get. They're quite small and aren't very good. The seafood was fantastic. Stick to that and skip the sides. The place itself gives a crisp yet comfortable vibe and the staff was very pleasant.

I took my Mom for lobster rolls. They were out of the Maine lobster roll offering leaving the Connecticut roll choice. Lobster was overseasoned with Old Bay. Melted butter was seasoned with Old Bay. Chips were Old Bay. Super disappointing and weird for the price. I have had good meals there in the past. It was odd, and I wish I’d taken mom elsewhere today. I know….not a true problem in today’s world.

Should have read the reviews before ordering here. I had the Maine “lobster” roll, supposedly 1/2 pound with side of chips and jalapeños. It was bland and pretty sure had mostly crab in it. Place was empty at 5:00 pm, and now I know why. Way over priced, chips were over seasoned. Good luck with your next venture! Maybe something better will open in this space in very near future!

My bff and I have been spending our Saturday afternoons (as well as an occasional Tuesday or Friday) eating oysters, Lobster rolls, personally crafted Poke bowls and various fresh seafood specials like crabcake sandwiches or Nashville hot fish frys, for well over a year now, washing everything down with buckets of $6 proseco and uniquely crafted specialty cocktails. The food is top notch, but the ambiance created by the knowledgeable, warm, and inviting staff is something money can't buy. I've never been much of a hugger, but now I begin and end every Saturday with heartfelt hugs and a whole lot of delicious food, drinks, and laughter in between. I highly recommend you do yourself a solid and come check out this Downtown Buffalo Treasure and tell em Biggie and Tupac sent you.
