My family and I had such a special night at Giancarlos, as we celebrated my daughter's graduation. The food was delicious! From the appetizers and entrees to the desserts...everything was served hot and beautifully presented! Jack was our server and was so professional and has such an incredible personality! He made our night even more memorable. Could not have wished for the night to be any better!
One of my favorite restaurants in Williamsville! food and drinks are always on point 🤌

We picked this restaurant for a wagyu beef item listed on the online menu. They did not have it and gave a weak answer as to why they could not make it. Servers were friendly and accommodating. However, I do not appreciate it when starters and main courses come out in staggered timing. Everything should come out at the same time for each course so some people are not watching others eat while not having their dish. Salads were meager for the price. Mostly just greens with tomatoes cut very small to make it look like there was more. A glass of wine is very overpriced. The tuna tataki was good. The branzino was overcooked and dry. The beef filet was good but not great. It should be great for $62. I will not be back anytime soon.

Wow, wow, wow. My boyfriend and I came here for my birthday a few years ago and were blown away by the quality of the food. The most memorable item was the crab ravioli.
Came back about a year later for a wedding party in one of the rooms and the service was impeccable. They were so accommodating and so attentive. Food was delicious, regardless of how big our party was.
Shout out to Jack and Victoria. Such great personnel to have at this awesome spot. Very professional and definitely trained in fine dining.
Looking forward to our next experience here!

The steaks might be Perth the price. We dis not have them. But the other entrees a supremely overpriced for the quality.
All food was excellent! Dined with another couple on the same track as us: Husbands had the Bolognese; wives had lasagna (which is prepared deliciously different than traditional). All had the special peach and cherry salad. Shared a pepperoni pizza appetizer that has honey added-really wonderful! Also each needed to try Mamma's Meatball (large enough to divide into 4 regular size meatballs) All the sauces (sorry, NJ, not “gravies”) were robust. Unfortunately no room for dessert. Looking forward to leftover lasagna for lunch today.
Every aspect of outstanding service and superb quality of food/drinks were experienced.
Always a Fabulous experience and Delicious food choices! You can't go wrong!
It pains me to give this place a 4 star (and not 5), but I did stop myself from giving them a 3. We've been coming here for our anniversary for many years. Never were we disappointed until today.
What's always good is the food: 10 out of 10. This place does not miss. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. We are always impressed with the quality.
What lacked today, however, was service. We made a reservation over the phone letting them know we were coming with children for our anniversary. When we arrived they told us they said did not realize we had kids, and that they had reserved a high table for us. That obviously was not going to work as we had a toddler and an infant. They did offer a table outside but we decided not to as we were worried about the heat. So we waited. And waited (mind you with a toddler and an infant). We were seated 35 min later... By the time bread came out, an hour has passed since we originally arrived.
Our server and her assistant were great. Very kind, polite and all around pleasant. However, she did not check in on us very often. I have no doubt it was because they were both busy. But it was disappointing, especially given how everything played out.
Also, what was the point of telling them it was our anniversary when we made the reservation? Not that we expect anything, but just made me wonder what the point of that was when that wasn't even mentioned during our dine in.
We will be back. Like I said we love this place and have been coming for many years. However, can't help but to feel like our special night ended on a disappointing note.
Must be top five restaurant in the greater Buffalo area. Fantastic food

We had a great dinner, we did get seated at the bar and it was LIVELY and loud, but still enjoyable. Our server Sam was great and very attentive! The food was delicious!
Atmosphere was nice but loud. The food was not worth the money you spend. For the price of the bone in Ribeye $$$ the flavor wasn't anything special. The cook on it was really nice but not much flavor. The pasta wasn't special. The mashed potatoes were bland the cream corn was actually delicious and the best part of the meal. The server Tony was actually really good. He was polite, fast, and personable. I don't mind spending good money on food but the food has to be worth it. I would not come again.
Everything was amazing the servicer was awesome and so was the food.
The canoli is amazing and the waiters are very friendly. Great service and great food overall.
Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Buffalo. Never disappointed, service and food outstanding!
