Had dinner at Giancarlo’s to celebrate family being in from out of town. It’s obviously a pricier establishment, but the food quality and ambiance is reflective of what you would expect at the price point. We had multiple appetizers we split, and a variety of entrees and dessert that everyone in our party of six was complimentary of.

I thought the service was even better yet (shoutout to Kyle). At first I thought the meet your waiter cards on the table were odd, admittedly even a bit tacky - I got that wrong. I can’t tell you the last waiters name I remembered several days after the fact. What started out at playful jest on fun facts actually led to a more personalized service. Kyle was very attentive, making sure every drink was replaced before you got to the bottom of the prior.

All around it was great, and we would go back again.

Our flight was canceled, so we spent the night in Buffalo. It was late and was so glad they had a resy available to accommodate us. Even though it was late, it was still fully packed, so you know it's a great spot. Ordered the 8oz filet with the grilled tiger shrimp combo, and crab crusted salmon and asparagus. The filet was perfectly cooked medium rare and so tender, one of the best I've had ever, just melted in your mouth! Salmon was also good, Service was also on point and was a great experience overall. Def come check it out!

Took my mom here for a splurge dinner for her birthday. Food was really fantastic, some of the best steak around. Pricey but so good. Service was also very good. A little loud but nothing terrible.

The third time here while visiting the area for work, it is a great place.

Nothing short of spectacular! High, very high quality ingredients, complex flavors, beautifully presented, by an exceptionally well trained service team. Our regular server, Zach, continues to amaze us with his wit, charm, and professionalism. Advice? Book a reservation in Giancarlo's Florence Room if you are looking for a bit more relaxing, quieter, and upscale dining experience.

We recently celebrated our son's graduation at this restaurant, and the experience was truly exceptional. From seating us a little earlier to the final course, the service, atmosphere, and food exceeded all expectations. Fred, who serves as both sommelier and manager, played a key role in making the evening so memorable. His wine expertise is remarkable—he thoughtfully selected pairings that perfectly complemented each dish. Beyond his wine knowledge, Fred's warm and attentive management ensured every detail of our celebration was handled with genuine care. Kate, our waitress, was equally outstanding. Friendly, professional, and attentive, she made us feel completely at ease. Her seamless service added to the relaxed and celebratory atmosphere. The food was excellent—each course was expertly prepared and full of flavor. Thanks to Fred and Kate, our son's graduation dinner became more than just a meal—it was a truly special occasion. Highly recommended for any celebration or a night out to remember.

Waitstaff lied to us about having an allergy friendly item. I have a bunch of allergies and can't eat many things which really limits where I can go out to eat. I had this item before and experienced no reaction so I wanted to go back for my partner and I's anniversary. I made the reservation several weeks in advance and included a note in our reservation saying to call me if this item wasn't available. Since we have been misled before, I called the day before to make sure they had it and was told that they did. Fast forward to the next day - after spending $40 on drinks we were told they didn't have the menu item. I don't know why I was shocked, as mentioned previously, this happened a few times before. The other allergy friendly items were basically pasta and vegetables which might have been fine at a less expensive establishment but it honestly was not worth our time or money. We got up and left. I'm really sad that our anniversary dinner had to turn out like this. We got up and left after a flimsy apology. If you have allergies please avoid this establishment at all costs unless you want to spend $50 on a pasta and vegetable dish you could make at home for 1/4 the price. We will never come back. I recommend Wind on Transit for a more allergy friendly experience.

Our waiter Kyle was excellent, he made great recommendations and was very attentive. Giancarlo's is my favorite restaurant and our go to place for nights out and special occasions. I've never been disappointed going there.
