overwinter coffee - williamsville

I hate to give this cafe such a low rating but I genuinely had one of the worst latte I’ve had. I precisely visited their elmwood/downtown location and had a great experience. The iced latte I got there was creamy, balanced, rich, and nutty. But the one I received today was watery and extremely sour.

Love the coffee and the pastries. The tarts and the cookies are some of my favorite in Buffalo, but the customer service at the Williamsville location can be atrocious. When the owner is here it’s a great time, but particularly on Monday’s the barista is passive aggressive and has a dismissive, non-caring attitude that makes me not want to stop in at this location anymore. Hoping the experience at elmwood is better 🤞🏽

Overwinter is excellent! The lattes are always spot on (I highly recommend the salted maple)! They also have fresh beans available which are top notch.

my boyfriend and I frequent this coffee shop and not only is every employee super friendly but their lattes are by far the most consistent compared to any other coffee shop in buffalo! I never know how a latte is going to turn out when I go to other cafes in the area but Overwinter always shows up with the perfect drink. You really get what you order and pay for!

Fantastic area to stop for a coffee and walk in the nearby park. Loved the vibe of the shop with plenty of seating and options to sit at bay windows to read, work on computer or relax. If my wife and I lived in the area we'd go all the time! Be mindful there's minimal food options. Very friendly, welcoming staff.

When we travel, we always try local coffee shops. Overwinter did not disappoint!! Very cute location, friendly and efficient staff, and the coffee was perfect.

When I travel, I try to find the best coffee shops in the cities that I’m passing through and try their pour over. I thoroughly enjoyed over winter coffee. I got their Ethiopian pour over, and it was excellent. It was one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. Their staff was very knowledgeable about coffee and friendly, and you could tell they brewed it the right way, which is harder to find than one might think. Next time I am passing through Buffalo I will definitely get over winter coffee.

Omg!! What a place! Super cute and great vibes! The guys were so friendly and the coffee is fabulous! This is what i expect from a coffee shop 😍
Their syrups are homemade. I had the blackberry one which I couldn’t taste much but the coffee itself was just perfect
