Going to this location in Wilmington brings back memories of when there were more than one A&W's in the ADK Mountains.This one is still family owned and seasonal, and the staff is super friendly, and the food is as good as ever.Get the fried cheese curds and a made on site root beer. Both are phenomenal.

This place is like the place where time stood still. Totally original 1960s A&W. Greeted at the door, sat at a table and provided table service. Service was top notch and the food was excellent. Do yourself a favour n pop in if you're in the area. You won't regret...Your new fans from Ontario

My wife and myself stopped in for snacks on our way through town, very yummy food and most importantly the staff was very friendly and helpful.
I stopped after the ride to the top of Whiteface Mountain. I was pretty 'white knuckle' by the time I got back down, so taking a break at A&W calmed my nerves.

I have never seen an A&W restaurant So we had to stop here to experience it. Before I even got out of the car they were coming out with menus and making sure we were all comfortable. Of course I had to get a root beer float! The food itself came out extremely quick and was delicious on top of that. I hope to come here again soon!
