I returned to the Adirondack mountains in Jay, NY with my sister Kelly for a return to where we grew up. We were looking for something to eat and we forgot how there isn’t too many places open this time of year but we found Scars Bar. Allison, the owner was fabulous, food was great, and the atmosphere was fabulous. Be sure to make your way out here.

Close at 11? It’s 9:15 pm Friday and you closed as we walked up to the bar!!!

Sweet, little authentic find... with great food while unassuming to drive by otherwise. Looks like the place jams in winter.Parking: We were in a small RV so "was nice getting an easy spot".

Yes. Yes. Yes!!!! Love Rudy's! This was my second time there and it was just as good as the first. The food was delicious and we obv all got lobster rolls. I love the atmosphere of the actual bar but especially this night because there was live music!

Really sweet spot to visit if you're in Wilmington. Food is fresh and satisfying after a long day of hiking/skiing/walking/whatever really! The wings were a hit with the group. Not pictured were the sides that came with the entrees, cole slaw and a lobster bisque.Everything was perfectly cooked and traveled well for our take out order. I loved the scallops! The lobster roll was great but there were so many great things that hit the spot overall.

Had been here once before, & food was VG (ordered seafood combo, & scallops). This time HOWEVER...., MUCH of the menu was "Grub Food" - deep fried / & battered. I had the chicken (so called: "breast") / which I actually thought would be half of a chicken's breast - BUT, it was "under" the Listing of sandwiches. OUT CAME: approx. 1/2" thick, 3" X 3" pc.?!? / lightly 'coated' with WHO KNOWS -- "What", on a bun with a LOT of lettuce. Very small - side of (tasteless!) coleslaw, & a large bowl of baked beans. "THREW" my $$ away - for $17.00! TERRIBLE! DON'T ORDER this!! (My wife had 'beer battered' shrimp (which was okay), & had to order SEPARATE side-dishes # $5.00 each.)

This was a great pub for a good meal. There were 8 of us, all had different things, and no complaints. We were very pleased with the service. Astrid was our waitress, friendly, beautiful young lady. The music was just starting as we left and place was getting busy. Would definitely visit again if in that area. We have been to Rudy's in Oswego many many times and this is an off spring.

This place is a spin off of Rudy's in Oswego NY! They are know for having amazing seafood. We were happy to find this place. Our server was friendly and helpful, although it was evident they were very short staffed. Our food still tasted amazing. They have indoor and outdoor seating in the summer months. Would go back again!

Great casual after ski vibe. Music most weekends. Great mac and cheese, great for the entire family.

My husband and I went to Rudy's for dinner on a Monday night around 7pm. Seating was outside and inside, where there was live entertainment. It was a beautiful August evening and we opted for a table outside. The restaurant was crowded with lots of families and children. We were welcomed by our friendly waitress, Sadie, and ordered two burgers. As time went on, Sadie would come to the table every 10 min or so to tell us our meal was coming. Sure. How long to cook a burger? After we had moved inside and the place was winding down and people still eating at the bar, we finally received our meals, with many apologies, and they were awesome. All in all, not so bad a time. My husband James enjoyed time with Sadie, his new sparring partner.
