Me and my buddy were staying in Wilmington for the week and decided to look for a bait shop around the area to do some fly fishing but we are also really big foodies and on occasion will wonder off and go to a restaurant we find interesting as we walked in we looked at the store for a bit and then decided to look at a menu and as we were talking to the lady about the area and food she recommended the the Cheeseburger and Chicken Sandwich and said they are the best things in the menu so that’s exactly what we ordered and when I tell you she was not lying that was hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had cooked to perfection and the chicken sandwich was just INCREDIBLE everything about it from the sauce to the patty and the coleslaw it was AMAZING we also ended up ordering the ice cream cake and that was also AMAZING service was great the people were amazing overall had a good time

This spot is marvelous. Tim D loves to cook and is creative-- fabulous 'corn ribs'. Delicious. The best meal I had over my three days in Lake Placid. Very obvious Tim loves cooking and seeing his guests enjoy good food. One of his sons works the counter. Nice warm welcoming fun people. Great surprise— a humble outer appearance and a gem of great flavor and good people inside.

Good service! Bad food. Everything was under cooked except the toast. Potatoes were basically parboiled and then heated, but half raw. Sausage patties were half cooked. Sunny side eggs were really snotty and raw on-top. It's not just us being picky, the table next to us left half their plates as well. Place would have line ups out the door if they just cooked their food properly. Doesn't need to be fancy just cooked. Atmosphere is older but still charming and our server was great and attentive.

We love Up A Creek!! Food is AMAZING, and reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere is that of a quaint home style cabin, and it is attached to a gift shop with useful items you might need for outdoors adventures. Highly recommended!!!

This was my favorite breakfast spot in this area a few years ago. ? Thank you to Danielle for your forever-sweet vibe, you make it so pleasant to come here. Food was good but the portions were a LOT smaller than I remember from last time, but in my defense the last time I was here was 2 years ago.
