Me and my buddy were staying in Wilmington for the week and decided to look for a bait shop around the area to do some fly fishing but we are also really big foodies and on occasion will wonder off and go to a restaurant we find interesting as we walked in we looked at the store for a bit and then decided to look at a menu and as we were talking to the lady about the area and food she recommended the the Cheeseburger and Chicken Sandwich and said they are the best things in the...
This spot is marvelous. Tim D loves to cook and is creative-- fabulous 'corn ribs'. Delicious. The best meal I had over my three days in Lake Placid. Very obvious Tim loves cooking and seeing his guests enjoy good food. One of his sons works the counter. Nice warm welcoming fun people. Great surprise— a humble outer appearance and a gem of great flavor and good people inside.
We love Up A Creek!! Food is AMAZING, and reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere is that of a quaint home style cabin, and it is attached to a gift shop with useful items you might need for outdoors adventures. Highly recommended!!!
