Brownie's Custard Stand / Eats and Treats

I'm sure this place is great, but they closed fir the season on 9/15! Maybe next year. 😋

We were in upstate New York this past weekend for salmon fishing and visiting the falls ! We came here twice for ice cream while we were visiting and both times was amazing ! The first night my son left his phone in the bathroom and thankfully someone turned it in and we were able to get it back! Found a cute little photoshoot on it after the fact!😂

They have a multitude of dairy free milkshakes! We were looking for parking and I noticed the sign. I had the salted caramel and would love to try some others like peanut butter or cookies and cream.

A lady stopped at Brown's to get Ice Cream for her dog and they refised to serve her saying it was after 9pm.
The lady was standing in line just as I was and it was 30 seconds after 9pm and we were served, when I told the girls that she was already standing in line before 9pm, the girls replied very Nasty saying that the owner will not let them serve anyone after 9pm.
I highly doubt that the company policy is not to serve a person that was already in line 30 seconds after the Closing time.
These were young girls working at this place and I was very surprised how rude, nasty and argumentative they were.
The hole situation was uncalled for. Needless to say, no one needs Ice Cream from Brown's.
My advice would be to get Ice Cream from a place that values its customers and thats not Brown's.

Awesome little ice cream shack not far from Lake Ontario in Wilson. Tons of ice cream choices/flavors/serving styles, also have dairy free & gluten free options! Decent prices & good portion sizes. Food is usually good as well, standard hot dog stand fare. Staff is always friendly to us. Lots of picnic tables to eat at, covered (in bldg) & uncovered(in back). Note- it's a CASH ONLY place, though. (Ice cream pic of mine is a gluten free cone w/ vanilla soft serve w cherry dip, it's the smallest/"kiddie" size!)

I ordered a hot dog with tater tots and they forgot my order. I waited till they closed and had to ask the manager on site where my order was. Was not happy about service.

They have soooo much ice cream. The food is very good, had cheeseburg and fries. Both were not over cooked. We ate there, but there is NO dine in, picnic tables.
