“Jill is a very good staff member of Victorianburg wine estate. They have very good wines set on a beautiful estate. The cheese platter is ok. The wines are very good. The chocolate truffles are spectacular. There is plenty of parking. The prices are what you would find at any winery. No problems whatsoever.”

“We always enjoy our trips to Shamus. We enjoy everything about the experience. Very pleasant people and excellent background music. My fish and chips was very good and they had no problem with a substitution. My wife ordered twin filets. We've found many restaurants are using tenderizer on their meat. No so here. The filets were outstanding. While there, we ordered the beef with Stout gravy to take out. It's been excellent at the restaurant, but the takeout was just marginal. The gravy was milky and the flavor rather bland. Hopefully they haven't changed the recipe from the rich brown stout gravy. That's the only reason the food didn't get five stars. WE aren't really dessert people, but in the past we've had no complaints on that front. Shamus is our home away from home for a great meal with really nice atmosphere.”

Diane is so efficient and friendly. Just today, we discovered that she is our barber's mother-in-law! Sanitary Barbershop is another Lockport favorite, family- owned business, likewise, friendly and efficient. Cousin's Cafe's decor takes you back through the years. It's a walk down memory lane providing our children a taste of what life was like when my husband and I were growing up.
