Classic pub atmosphere with really good food. Lots of local draft options to choose from.

There is no better place to eat in Wilson than Vern’s. The atmosphere is comfy and feels like home for townies and nothing but welcoming to visitors from out of town. It’s clear the owner cares for everyone who walks through the door. On top of all that, the food is some of the best I’ve ever had.

We went to Vern’s on a Tuesday and they had Taco Tuesday. The tacos were amazing and would definitely recommend them. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. The service was very good and attentive and we always had what we needed. We even were lucky enough to catch a ride back to the marina with a staff member as we didn’t have a car. Definitely a must go to spot if you are in the area !

I dream of the Caeser salad with a poached egg and the moulder burger!

I had eaten here previously on a weekend and the food was great. I last went during the week with a girl friend and the menu was reduced, service was fair, the place was so loud we could barely have a conversation but the cherry on top was that the ketchup bottles on the table were so old, and had obviously been consolidated/married with other bottles that when I went to use it, the bacteria in them had produced gas and caused a mini explosion when the flip top was opened. Needless to say I didn't use the ketchup, and will definitely not be back during the week.

A cozy neighborhood bar and restaurant with a rotating weekly menu of specials, including favorites like the Guinness stew and mac & cheese. It’s the kind of spot where you’re always greeted by familiar, friendly faces—perfect for enjoying a comforting meal and a drink in a welcoming atmosphere.

Food was excellent and large portions. Pulled pork was melt in your mouth tender. Great casual dining.

Great place, the family goes periodically. They only have the Bar Menu on weekdays, but the food is great. Small Town service, which is friendly and personable. A high end version of a corner bar.

I had the Mulder Burger (Skully was not there), very good with fresh made chips and Niagara Lager on draft! All delivered by a great server, Alise. Highly recommended.

I’ve been coming here since the day they opened and they’ve never disappointed. Food consistently great and the owners are the nicest people you’ll meet. Great for drinks or dinner.
