Chicken Run Family Restaurant and Steak House

We had a very good overall experience. The food was solid, and the steak I ordered was absolutely outstanding—definitely the highlight of the meal. Others in our group didn’t enjoy their dishes quite as much, so I would especially recommend going for the steak selection and asking the servers for guidance—they are extremely knowledgeable and very kind.

They also offer a great selection of beers and well-made cocktails. I always appreciate being asked about my liquor preference for cocktails, and they handled that detail perfectly. Prices are very fair.

Fun Chicken Themed restaurant in Windham NY, very close to Windham Mountain. Our party of 4 were immediately seated on a busy Friday evening and each of us had a chicken meal - all the meals were very well prepared. You can get your chicken prepared any which way and if you are not a fan of chicken, they have other meats as well. The wine was good, as were the cocktails and beer and the service was over the top fantastic - we had a fun waitress!

In summer months, Chicken Run has outdoor seating and an area for children to play in. Large parking lot accommodates many cars. Will return.

I want to say thank you for the wonderful evening on December 31st. The band playing was pleasant to listen to and created a great atmosphere. And Salman was simply amazing that evening of the outgoing year. The bartender, I don't remember her name, was incredibly kind to me. Everything was perfect.

Food was great and the service was incredible and accommodating even on a busy night like New Years Eve.

If you love popcorn this spot is a freaking gold mine, we had 6 bowls and some to take home!

Service was friendly and attentive. The place was clean, warm and inviting. We got their chicken sandwiches and were very impressed. The buns were great, the included sauce (chipotle mayo?) was delicious, and it came with a generous side of fries. Prices were fair. Will come back!

Cool local place, good food overall. But honestly who names themselves “chicken” anything and then has cafeteria freezer chicken tenders. Good spot, just don’t get those.

Staff was super accommodating and very kind to our family. Very kid friendly restaurant and the food was delicious! Plus they have soft serve which is always a hit with our kids…and adults :) Went twice during our 4 day trip up here. Will be back again!

Absolutely amazing experience at Chicken Run Family Restaurant and Steak House! The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and served hot and fresh. What really stood out, though, was how incredibly kind and welcoming the employees were — they made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. The service was fast, friendly, and genuinely caring. You can tell they take pride in what they do. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone I know!

Great local spot, friendly service. Amazing ribs and mashed potatoes. Get the chocolate pie. Really cool
Swag and soft serve ice cream. Live music almost every night. Great for kids or bar scene
