This French bakery hidden in the heart of Windham NY. The pastries are delicious. We make sure gave we go to the bakery every year when we come up for our family trip. This year we tasted an assortment of cakes, his quiche, donuts and his gluten free cake. You have to try it when you visit Windham mountain.
Antoine, the owner and chef, is truly an artist. His pastries and cakes are second to none. He is passionate about his product and the results are incredible. You can tell that he uses the highest quality ingredients in his pastries and cakes. My wife said it was the best bakery she has ever been to and I would absolutely have to agree. If you are in Windham, or somewhere nearby, do not miss the opportunity to treat yourself to this hidden gem in WIndham!

The owner/baker promised that this would be "the best babka I've ever had" and he was right! Delicious, fluffy, crumby, chocolatey! I will definitely be back to try more items!

Antoine never disappoints!! The birthday cake for my wife’s 60th birthday was amazing!! She was so happy! It was beautiful and delicious. He also made our wedding cake and it was also an amazing creation. Delicious and beautiful!! He was very accommodating. He was able to make this custom cake for me with less than 1 weeks notice. I would strongly recommend him for custom creations or just visit the bakery and enjoy the delicious treats! Thank you again for making this event memorable!!
No-frills bakery with delicious French desserts created by a very French ornery Frenchman. Cannot get more pure of a patisserie in NY than this.

Chef Antoine made an absolutely fantastic cake for my daughter’s baptism. It was beautiful, delicious and entirely dairy free! We had a vanilla cake with chocolate mousse filling on one tier and lemon mousse on another. There was white buttercream frosting and beautiful pink flowers as well. He delivered and set up the cake for us. He also made delicious macarons we all enjoyed - rose and lavender.

An authentic french bakery! 42+ years of baking has really paid off. I’m so glad I was able to stop by before heading back home. The macaroons come in a set for $27. They are a must here (also gluten free). They don’t use food coloring in any of their pastries as well. Give them a try, you won’t regret it!

La Patisserie Normande is the absolute best! Our friend recommended it to us when we moved to the area and it is truly incredible that talented Antoine has blessed our tiny town with the best pastries, desserts, and quiches! When planning our wedding, honestly there was no one else I’d rather entrust with my wedding cake. Antoine is a perfectionist and he made our cake dreams come true! The whole process was delightful, from the tasting where we tried each component of the cake separately to coordinating additional items with Mary Jo (macaroons for our ceremony, quiches for my bridal party and family the morning of our wedding) to the day of our wedding when Antoine hand-delivered our cake and let us borrow his beautiful wooden cake stand. A cake for 110 people is no easy task, especially when it’s coated in marzipan (in July no less!) and it was honestly most delicious cake I’ve ever had! Photo Credit: Lev Kuperman
Magnificent pastries. The crust is perfect with a satisfying crunch on the outer layer to the buttery tenderness within. The pastry's structure is akin to a culinary work of art, showcasing an intricate web of airy, thin layers that practically dissolve upon contact.
