If you are Windham when this place is open you must go! No questions asked the best croissant of my life. So rich and delicate. Quiche is unreal and the coconut macrons are to die for

An authentic french bakery! 42+ years of baking has really paid off. I’m so glad I was able to stop by before heading back home. The macaroons come in a set for $27. They are a must here (also gluten free). They don’t use food coloring in any of their pastries as well. Give them a try, you won’t regret it!

I wish the sign outside was bigger, because it's a Hidden gem. A real French pastry chef was a pleasant surprise. He encouraged us to try his creation of macaroons and honestly they made the macaroons u buy elsewhere taste like garbage. We ended up here after babblers was empty And looked closed at 1 pm sunday. I am so glad I found this place!

Incredible pastries, building itself is cozy, I have tried almost everything on the menu and have yet to try something I dislike.

Magnificent pastries. The crust is perfect with a satisfying crunch on the outer layer to the buttery tenderness within. The pastry's structure is akin to a culinary work of art, showcasing an intricate web of airy, thin layers that practically dissolve upon contact.

Patisserie Normandy is a French-style bakery in Windham NY. Antoine is the owner and baker and he can be quite rude. I know the French don't really like Americans, but come on.. if you're in America, you need to treat your customers better.I ordered a cake for my mother's birthday a few years ago, only to arrive to pick it up & it wasn't what I ordered. The answer I got back was - "take it or leave it." How is this good for business? I didn't take it. Instead, I came home and baked a coffee and walnut torte which took me a while to make, but was amazing. I don't need that kind of attitude. Next time I'll buy a cake in the city & bring it up with me.This past weekend, we purchased a Salade Antoine - a vegetable "cake" made of grilled eggplant and zucchini and filled with a chopped salad consisting of romaine lettuce, cucumber, mozzarella and tomatoes. It lacked flavor, was extremely hard to cut and serve. At a steep price o $30 it was a shame to throw out so we ate the grilled veggies and discarded the wilted salad. The Patisserie used to be open for cappuccino and desserts, but these days it's take out only. Too bad, as it was nice to sit down & eat freshly baked pastry.

When this french bakery first opened in Windham, there was an opportunity to have a beverage and dessert inside, but a few years later (pre-covid) this changed. Now it's only a take out place. The owner is extremely arrogant. Windham NY is the country, not New York City and certainly not Paris. You can't have an attitude like that toward customers. They used to have a large selection of pastries, now there's few. A torte is $70, which is ridiculous given where we are. Not returning.
