We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Millrock Restaurant and were really pleased with how it turned out! It’s a family-run restaurant that was able to accommodate our group of about 40 people with ease. Eddie helped us plan a great menu that everyone loved. The chicken parm and stuffed pasta were big hits! The evening felt relaxed and welcoming. We would recommend Millrock for any group gathering or special occasion.

Ambiance is great . Food was good. However menu has changed and prices have as well penne a la vodka with chicken was $44 it was good but that is at a premium even for Manhattan prices. The menu changed no more salmon . It was good just not for the price point.
The Millrock Restaurant & Bar catered dinner for my large family reunion this past weekend and it was absolutely delicious! I worked with Eddie to create the menu and ensure we ordered enough food for the 65 people we hosted. Eddie and his chef were extremely accommodating of the food allergies in our group and recreated dishes on their menu to fit the needs of our family members. Eddie was a great communicator and went above & beyond to make sure that every tray was perfectly prepared. The signature stuffed rigatoni was a huge hit for both the children and adults as well as the chicken parm. We also had the signature salad with goat cheese, dried cranberries, and pumpkin seeds which had guests coming back for seconds. The eggplant was fried to perfection and had amazing flavor. Overall, I highly recommend the food and want to reiterate how professional Eddie was to work with. We will be ordering from this restaurant again.

Went in without a reservation. Several locals suggested Millrock as we were about and around town. Waited 20 minutes for a table, but let me tell you that 20 minutes was worth the small wait. Paul was our server and he was fantastic! Made great suggestions and all were awesome! His back waiter was his daughter, Sarah and she was just as good, if not better! We had a Caesar salad, big, fresh romaine and great Cesar dressing. My wife had the Chicken Marsala, best either of have tasted and I had the Cavatelli pasta, so good. Bottle of Frank Family Vineyards Pinot Noir, incredible Pinot! Finished off with an apple bread pudding, we love a good bread pudding and this was a great one! To top the night off, the owner, Justine stopped by our table and we had a great conversation! We wish we had a spot like this close to home in Texas, but will have to settle for Windham, NY! We spent 3 days in Manhattan, had good food and a good time but nothing close to what we experienced at Millrock! Thank you Justine, Paul, Sarah and the rest of the staff!

Our food took too long to come out and didn’t meet the standard. The guy sat next to us (who came after) finished his drink, ate his food, paid, left and our food still didn’t come out. When we ordered, they asked if we would like both our dishes to come out together and we said yes. After a long wait, they finally served us one dish of our order. They later explained that they never got our food ticket. The pizza they served us was way too wet. When i asked if it was typical, the guy came out to ask but then never came back to explain why. They took the pizza off our bill when they gave the check, which is why the rating is higher.

My wife and I have been going to Millrock for years. The staff is friendly and Justine and John always have a smile on their faces, My go to is a lemon chicken. There’s just something about it that I find divine. But this particular night, my wife and I decided to hit the specials. We started with the Moscow Mule for the wife, made with homemade ginger beer, And a blood orange whiskey cocktail for me.Then came the arugula salad with golden beets, cranberries, and pumpkin seeds in a vinaigrette with a homemade ricotta cheese it was absolutely delicious. Next we had the Spanish octopus with chorizo and beans. It seemed like it was a bean purée with Chorizo crumbles It was so good that I actually wiped the plate clean with a piece of bread. Now onto the main course, my wife had the wild boar ragu over homemade pappardelli pasta. Anyone who cooks with or eats homemade pastas knows how difficult it is to make it and have it come out al dente. This dish was off the charts. I decided to have the braised veal shank. It was fall off the bone, tender, it was rich and had a deep full flavor, kind of what dreams are made of. And for the finale, dessert. Normally we split a desert and that was the plan tonight. We chose the apple bread pudding with a caramel sauce and whipped cream. Then our waitress came back to the table to tell us of another dessert. The cheesecake with a chocolate top and buttery graham cracker crust. I will tell you, they were both a little slice of heaven. My wife dubbed it “the best meal I ever had, start to finish. “Now if I was reading this review, I would say, this guy is a shill for the owners. Not true. While we do share pleasantries with the owners and staff it’s the food that takes center stage. I will tell you we’re looking forward to our next night out at Millrock. If Millrock isn’t on your shortlist, May I suggest you put it there. It doesn’t disappoint.

It was good/ok. If I'm evaluating off prices/value. The quality and taste don't match the price. We ate in the bar and the ambiance was very nice and server was very good and attentive.

Millrock Restaurant is easily the best place to eat at in the Windham area. I have been here multiple times and each time I was greeted with a kind, hard working and resilient staff/ management team. The food and drinks are excellent, and the wait staff made it a point to make sure that my party was content throughout the duration of our dinner. If there was ever musical entertainment accompanying our dinner, it was always lovely and created an atmosphere that paired perfectly with our meal. The restaurant overall is extremely professional yet also posses a genuine and welcoming quality. This business truly deserves all kindness and support that they receive from their community. It is a wonderful place to dine at and you will certainly be taken care of with the utmost professionalism and consideration. No complaints here whatsoever. Absolutely love it here!!

For anyone thinking of going to this restaurant, forget about it. Disgusting food and drinks along with the rudest staff of employees you can find. I received my food with a piece of hair, so I nicely asked for it to be remade. I was then told I put my own hair in the food? After continuing this conversation with the staff I was called multiple slurs because I am a black woman. If you want to be racially profiled and have food with hair then this is your place. Avoid at all costs !!!!

Rude management. Unorganized, forgetful and wouldn’t remedy issues on their end; food mistakes, insect in drink, etc. maybe it was just a bad night but I couldn’t believe how inconsiderate they were

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner outside at Millrock Restaurant tonight, and as always it did not disappoint! The ambience was great, the wait staff attentive and friendly, and the food and drinks were delicious! An added bonus was the talented artist (Joseph James) who played the keyboard and sang...fantastic! Also, for those who may care (I know it matters to me!), the bathroom was clean and up to par. Overall, a fantastic evening. We will definitely be back sooner rather than later!!

Let me start by saying, I am a very calm person, I never complain at restaurants and usually try to give people and staff the benefit of the doubt. However, the Millrock Restaurant and Bar in Windham must want to drive away customers, because they’ve mastered it.
My friends and I arrived, were told it would be about a 10 minute wait. No problem. We asked to sit inside, and waited at the bar for a table to be ready. We ended up waiting over half an hour and ended up being seated outside. At the bar, drinks took way too long to arrive, and when they did, mine came with a long black hair and my friend’s had a fly. That should never happen anywhere that takes itself seriously.
Further, my friend ordered a Shirley Temple and was handed some bizarre citrus explosion with whole chunks of lemon, lime, and orange. Nothing close to what she ordered. Still- we said nothing, ordered our food from the waiter and were told we’d get bread shortly. We waited 20 minutes, watching every other table get bread except us. Finally I said, I’m going to say something (which I NEVER do- but all things considered I just felt they needed to know how unhappy we were with the way things were going).
So I finally, kindly, explained everything that had gone wrong, and instead of an apology, I was told: “If you’re not having a good time, you could leave.” I was shocked. That is not customer service. That is pure dismissal.
If you’re considering this restaurant, just don’t. The staff at the Millrock are careless, disrespectful, and unworthy of the praise they seem to have online. Any other restaurant in Windham is a better choice than this one. Literally. Even the gas station food would be a step up.
Mill Rock Restaurant and Bar in Windham was a complete disgrace.
When we walked in we were told 10 minutes for a table inside. Instead, we waited more than 30 minutes and got sat outside anyway. While waiting, we ordered drinks, one had a fly floating in it, the other had a hair. That alone should have been enough to make us walk out, but we gave them the benefit of the doubt.
My friend ordered a simple Shirley Temple. What came out looked like someone dumped a fruit salad into a glass. Our server promised bread not once, but twice, and still never brought it. Meanwhile, other tables around us had baskets of bread within minutes of sitting down.
We sat there for 30 minutes contemplating if it was even worth saying something, or if we should just try to enjoy our evening. When we finally, politely, voiced our concerns, the response was: “If you’re not having a good time, you could leave.” That’s the level of respect this restaurant has for its customers. None.
The entire experience was unsanitary, unprofessional, and insulting. Any other restaurant in Windham will treat you better than this place. Literally. Even grabbing food from the gas station would be a better experience.
