Did not dine here, and while I recognize it is a “first come, first service” restaurant, that does not excuse being sent to voicemail multiple times while simply seeking insight into the current wait time for a table for 2.
I will never understand restaurants who do not allow for reservations, and more so restaurants who also insist then on not answering the phone. The audacity is on another level.

We were here a year ago and the Bolognese with bucatini was the best my foodie girlfriend ever had. We made sure to come back this year again and were sorely disappointed. They no longer allow you to order the Bolognese with bucatini (which is a pasta substitution) and it was overall just flavorless. There was hardly any sauce it was mostly meat, carrots, and a little onion. What sauce was on the plate was watered down and tasteless. Pretty disappointing to pay $150 for dinner, drinks, apps for that level of food quality. We were told they had a chef change in Oct-25. We hope the food taste can improve to the old standards.

There's a long wait (40 minutes 1.5 hours after opening on a Saturday for us) if you're not there early (no reservations) but it's worth it. Bolognese was so good and yes get the hot honey salami pizza.

Did a take out catering order for my party of 75 people — food was out of this world. Guests could not stop raving about the lemon chicken, eggplant parm, veal Marsala and meatballs. Penne vodka also tasty and was the butter cheese fusilli. Baked clams and salads (Caesar and special beet) were great too.

Although food was great, the server Adam was very rude, he kept rushing us to order the food and when some of us took a few seconds to order we were given ultimatum to order within a minute. I wonder if this was racism or sheer rudeness, in either case we didn't serve this kind of treatment.

This experience stood out for the wrong reasons.
When we first arrived, we were told there would be a one-hour wait. Surprisingly, we received a seating message within five minutes, which was confusing but not an issue. We were also informed that the entire group needed to arrive before being seated—something that is fairly common. However, despite this, we were seated before our full party had arrived, which set the tone for the inconsistency that followed.
I joined the table a little later than the rest of my group and had not yet had the chance to review the menu. When the host, Adam, came to take orders, I politely asked for a few minutes to decide. This was a very reasonable request. Unfortunately, his response was noticeably unprofessional and dismissive—not just to me, but obvious enough that everyone at the table noticed.
He insisted that I had “one minute” and stated that he would not place orders unless everyone ordered at the same time. This made little sense. By that logic, would additional orders not be accepted mid-meal? Would dessert orders be refused later? That approach felt rigid, unnecessary, and frankly rude. Whether it was poor training or a lack of courtesy, it was not the level of service one expects from a good restaurant.
The food itself was decent, and interactions with other staff members later in the evening were acceptable. However, when you encounter an experience like this early on, even the good aspects of the evening start to feel diminished. Hospitality and professionalism are as important as the food, and this interaction had a lasting impact on our night.
Out of respect for my group, I chose not to react at the moment, but had I been dining alone, I would have left immediately.
Would I return? No. Would I recommend this place? Not at this stage.
There are many other restaurants offering comparable food with far better hospitality. You can make your own choice, but I will not be returning or recommending this restaurant.
10/10 experience from the hostess to the bartender to to the waitstaff. The dishes were delicious including the warm bread with olive oil. Highly recommend the beet salad and the bolognese! Lemon sherbet and the strawberry bread pudding were also stunning. Would come again. Very homey feel with pleasant crowd.

Exceptional spot and we really enjoyed. Warm and high quality service. Great food and drinks. We have had many carbonara pastas in our lives, but wow - their carbonara special was 10/10 out of this world! It should be a part of the permanent menu. We were practically licking the plate. We had a party of 15 kids tonight and visited the restaurant for dinner. Place was busy but we got seated promptly. They ask you to hang jackets at the entrance which is convenient. Order was taken promptly, server was attentive. Food was good, pizzas were delicious, esp the Margherita and Chefs garden pie. We ordered a variety of desserts and they were all scrumptious! Great place, esp for dine in and large groups.
