It was our first time trying Prominence Restaurant today and holy crap! Every staff member was incredibly polite and made the experience so refreshing! Our Host Diane was an absolute gem, she remembered the entire menu and how everything was made, the descriptions she gave when presenting the specials and signature cocktails to us had our heads spinning, it all sounded so wonderful we couldn’t choose!! The bar tenders made cocktails that were top tier! So so yummy and such sweet ladies! The owner, Miguel, made it a point to introduce himself to my boyfriend and myself when we arrived and took the time to ask us about ourselves, he let us try some awesome apps and gave us a good laugh from time to time. We give this place 20/10 for our first experience. Phenomenal food, amazing and genuine staff/owner, and just a breath of fresh air, especially when you’re looking to be treated like royalty. This is the place to go!

A Must-Visit Gem in Windham, NY!
I had the pleasure of dining at Prominence Restaurant for the first time this past weekend, and what an incredible experience it was! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch.
We enjoyed a delicious meal that included the tuna tartare, lobster salad, soft shell crabs, and steak—each dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and served in generous portions. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and freshness of the food. We also indulged in dessert and a round of fantastic cocktails that truly elevated the evening.
A special thanks to Miguel Zamora, the owner, who personally greeted us and made thoughtful recommendations that did not disappoint.
Do yourself a favor and visit Prominence Restaurant—you will not regret it! A true standout in Windham, and one we’ll be returning to again and again.

My sister and I had dinner at Prominence a couple of days ago. What an enjoyable meal! The food was wonderful, with generous portions. I had the swordfish special and the fish was very fresh! The Burrata Mozzerella appetizer was delicious, as were the rice balls. My sister had an appetizer special (fried pork belly) and linguini with a variety of seafood in the sauce- also delicious! The service was great- our waitress was Lydia- very prompt and there when you needed her without hanging over us.

We arrived around 7pm and was told they didn’t have any tables for another 45 minutes so we sat at the bar. It was spacious and comfortable.
I ordered one of their specials: a hibiscus and ginger spritz and it was amazing. We got the meatball appetizer which was underwhelming with four tiny meatballs then had delicious warm bread and butter. Salads come with entrees so I had a delicious house salad with honey Dijon vinaigrette. I ordered the rack of lamb for my entree and my husband ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Both were amazing.

I had a bad clam after eating their linguine and clams. Within 20 minutes I had almost passed out and then vomitted. At my husbamda request EMTs were called and they were super professional and caring. Staff were very concerned and kind. However, the establishment still charged me for the meal and a bourbon I had ordered but not touched due to being violently ill!! What a disappointment to say the least.
