I found this place via Googling where to eat near Hunter NY. I got the truffle grilled cheese, tomato soup and a side of mac & cheese. It was SOOO good!! The atmosphere was super cozy. Friendly staff. If it was closer I would def be here a few times a month.
The ONLY thing I would say is, it was hard to find as there is no sign. It’s a beautiful old brick (what used to be a bank) building w 2 white pillars.

Parking: This location is on Main St. So it is better to park across the street behind Keybank. It is all free parking

The women at the counter with the tattoo around her left arm , she had a very hard time understanding what we CLEARLY ordered. Threw nasty comments under her breath. She couldn’t understand my name (R.J.), had a nasty attitude and said it’s whatever I don’t care. When we paid her she aggressively slapped it onto the counter when I had my hands out to grab it. She was nice to others before and after us . Wonder if it’s because I’m of color ?! They wouldn’t allow my SERVICE dog in either and kept saying he’s emotional support but he’s my physical assistant dog a.k.a SERVICE DOG! ?

My husband and I love this place for breakfast and lunch. The staff is so wonderful and the food is amazing! We couldn’t get over the steak sandwich! It was so good!
cold coffee of questionable quality. Noisy room where no one listens to the music and the overpriced menu items don't match the unpromoted and underpaid musicians. I never worked a restaurant in 40 years that didnt offer some free food to the musicians . I would never play there again.
