Reviewing the restaurant because could not find that separately from the hotel.Food was overpriced for the quality. The beet salad has maybe 4 pieces and the duck ragu was a tiny potion of meat for almost $40. Lots of filler ingredients. Service was good so cannot complain about that but this place is not worth the price.Food & drinks: Overpriced and small portions of main ingredients

Very nice environment and service was good too, saw a lot of reviews said, service was sucks, but be honest, the time when we were here Sunday night around 6:00pm service was pretty good, food wasn't take that long, about 25mins our appetites are came up on the table. And all Flavor was very good. Pasta and fish &chips were good, But not the NY strips, came out was very dry. Not recommended to order this. But definitely should try out the meatloaf. Yummy

I’ve had dinner here twice , and the food is excellent, especially the twin tails over linguine . A very pleasant surprise was the bread pudding - it’s as if a specialist pastry chef was flown in to prepare this dessert. The place has a great vibe and is the perfect apres ski bar / restaurant .The staff work very hard, and the service is excellent!!

I have to chime in because the overall low rating of this place was very much inconsistent with our experience. We walked in on New Year's Eve and sat at the bar- the staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and we were impressed by the menu options. We ordered the Burrata appetizer and really enjoyed it. My husband got the burger and he said it was the best he's had in a while. I got the broccoli rabe and sausage dish, and I would definitely order it again. Super flavorful and not too oily. Overall, we are excited to return on our next trip to Windham.

Incredibly pricey stay for very few amenities or services. Stained sheets, dirty white walls, and floors left uncleaned. Virtual check-in is nice. You’re provided with a parking space but they’re often taken by restaurant guests. Lovely fire pits but no instructions or materials to start a fire. “Dog friendly” but there is little to no grass to take out the dog.Specifically we were in room 10. There is plenty of room for a small table with chairs but it’s wasted on a random leather chair. The shower door wasn’t installed correctly so it doesn’t stay shut. Remote didn’t have batteries. Since there isn’t a check-in or staff, you’re constantly having to bug the restaurant staff to assist.Luckily it was a convenient location to the wedding we had to attend and dog friendly, no other pros for usSafety: I am hoping the door code changes between guests because I was provided with the door code 2 days prior to check-in which is unnerving

We enjoyed a delicious dinner!Food was fresh, menu is not large which is great bc it can be overwhelming and from our experience a smaller menu usually means more quality and care is taken. My hubby had the steak fritz, I had the carrot soup and we had the whipped riccota appetizer. Kids had the pasta and cheeseburger. The fries were delicious!Cherry cosmo was fresh and tasty. For dessert we had the chocolate chip cookie and vanilla Sunday-so yummy! Also it was my little guys 5th birthday and the staff came over to sing to him which was so special. If we’re ever in the area we will for sure be back.

Some things were hit or miss. Brussels sprouts app, amazing. Cauliflower steak with gremolata, not so much. Im not even sure the gremolata was actually gremolata, it was their take on a gremolata but I think it had raw shallots in it- not good. I get it, it's boring cauliflower, but if you can't make right then don't make it at all. Stew appetizer, was good. Burger was good. For the prices the food should have been phenomenal, but instead it was just ok. Also, a bloody Mary is $20.

Catskill Mountain Shakespeare celebrated their cast party for the second year in a row at Union + Post in their upstairs lounge. The lounge is private and comfortable (but also airy as it looks down onto the restaurant below and even offers an outdoor space). Working with Ola to prep for the event was easy. We had two speciality cocktails and snacks and everything was wonderful. Our bartender and her assistant were personable and fun! We will definitely return. Thanks again Union + Post!!

Overpriced and mediocre. Our food took 90 minutes to come out and our server only checked on us once during that time. I've had better steaks at Outback. The tuna wasn't scaled. One of our double espressos came with a spoon but they never even offered sugar, milk, cream, etc..Ambiance is decent if you like people yelling at sports on the TV during a $200 meal for two.Food & drinks: Overpriced and mediocre

Drinks were good, food was meh. The yellowfin tuna had not been de- scaled and I got a mouth full of inedible fish scales. We waited over an hour and a half for our food and were only checked on by the waitress once before getting our meal. When served espresso, I wasn't asked if I wanted cream or sugar. The steak was bland and was bested by their asparagus. The only food I really enjoyed were the meatball appetizer.

Wife and I were staying nearby so we thought we would give this place a try.We were there midweek in the summer so we didn't need reservations. From what we heard, you may need them on weekends.Inside the place is inviting. You walk through the bar area and get to either the deck or the inside tables. We chose indoors as I really don't enjoy mosquitoes. The staff was good. They knew the specials and we had the Caribbean black bean and beef soup to start. The waitress confided that it was a bit spicy. She may know her way around the tables but she didn't know spicy. Both the wife and I enjoy a little spice but this soup was more sweet than spicy. It was GREAT. Black beans, plenty of beef, potatoes, carrots and peas in a dark beef broth. I could have eaten another bowl or two, but more delights waited. Even the wife ate all her soup, so not spicy at all. Delicious. The wife had the mushroom ravioli. She was not super enthusiastic about it. Mushrooms don't provide much taste on their own and neither does ravioli. Her suggestion was to cook it some red wine sauce but she only cooks for me so what can I say?I ordered the lobster mac and cheese. It was a huge portion. The lobster blended with the mac and cheese quite well. The portion was ample, it tasted great and even the wife ate a fair amount. We were both too full for dessert, even though the waitress tried to sell us on it.All in all, well worth trying if you are in the area. We will be back if we are there.
