This is my favorite pizza in the United States! The crust is exactly right: not flat and also not deep, and with just the right texture - a tiny bit crisp and also dough-licious, the sauce is distributed the way I love it. The onion, mushroom and green pepper are fresh and not overly-portioned which would make it soggy, but just the perfect amount. I just enjoyed four slices and had to say thank you!
We order take out from this lovely family run joint all the time! The people are super friendly and the pizzas are delicious - thin crust, and freshly made to order in a wood fired oven
This is the best cheese pizza in this area. We buy one, eat half and save the rest for later. The rest reheats well. Have lived in NYC for 38 years and tried a lot of Pizzerias. Many were very good. We have also lived, during 23 of those 38 years in Windham and tried every Pizzeria we could find. The Windham Pizzeria is, in our opinion, the best. Thin crust, fresh tasting, ingredients, fine cheese and tomato balance.
