Detoured here after getting to our usual place and they were closed. Nice little find in a quiet town. The food had a unique more homemade taste. The general tso had a nice subtle zing to it and the lo mein was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we would return.
Nice place, clean and organized. Polite service from a young man. Food was very mediocre, wonton soup tasted like water, the lo mein was really dry (decent flavor at least) and the shrimp and broccoli was okay (shrimp were well cooked, but the brown sauce had a really heavy ground pepper flavor that just didn't belong). Unfortunately it's local, but I feel like I'd travel to either Deposit NY for their Chinese or Binghamton NY (the one attached to Robinson st Weis)...
I travel year round for work. These guys do hands down some of the best fried dumplings i have ever had the pleasure of eating. Prompt, accurate, and friendly service. A stop i look forward to every year.
