Went for a beautiful (albeit very warm) walk at Chimney Bluffs with the dog and thought we’d try the winery we saw signs for along the way. So glad we stopped! Cute little building, super welcoming and friendly staff, great wine! They were welcoming to our dog (who was on a struggle bus after the warm walk) and let him cool off in the AC. We loved the Bunny Blush and the red sangria!
Cute little stop on our little wine tour of the area!! Very nice owner that has a lot of great conversation!
Very nice tasting Knowledgeable young lady working.

Cute winery near Chimney Bluff state park. Don’t miss this small woman owned and run winery if you are in the area or feel like a pretty weekend ride. The owner takes pride in her offerings and has a selection including some semi sweet to drier varieties.
Cute place! Very nice owner. Good wine.

Small, quiet and really good wines. It was a very enjoyable afternoon with my wife and two dogs, yes they love dogs. Our favorite was the medium dry Riesling, so good bought a bottle to take back to campground.
Disappointed. Three of us took a wine-tasting trip to various locations and all of use decided we would not return to Thorpe. Not that it was a bad experience; it simply wasn't worth the trip. First off, people go there to drink wine; yet, they don't have a bathroom. And you're in the middle of nowhere. Second, the price ($9 for 6 tastings), was the most expensive of any other winery within an hour drive. 3, their palate cleanser was animal crackers, which felt cheap and low-class; especially considering #4. 4, everything in the place was wildly overpriced, which is why we left with nothing (yet, we all bought wine at every other location we visited).Edited to say - the wine was pretty good.
We have loved visiting Thorpe vineyard since it’s opening days in 1988. The quality of Fumi’s wines is excellent and we love how she takes the time to talk to everyone

Such a great little Winery! Every time we stop in, there is something new to chat about! The owner Fumie is so knowledgeable about her wine, the stars, the Lake! Thorpe Vineyard has a wonderful selection of award winning wines!!
