Here's the thing - I love the sandwiches. I have had no direct negative interaction with any employees or anything of the sort. This even used to be a 5-star review!
However, if you were to take a quick gander on the responses to genuine negative experiences, you'll have a good understanding of why I haven't returned.
I think that speaks volumes for itself. I've even used it as an example on several occasions of what NOT to do as a business owner/operator.
Here's the brass tax: is the food good? Sure. Is the owner a sensible person who understands the merits of constructive criticism? That's up for debate.

So disappointed, we tried to come here today for a birthday lunch with our son. Dads birthday, looked kid friendly for a 1 years old. Online said it was open but when we got there the lights were off and door was locked and closed. Mail stuck in door with a note about closed bc of due to storm but there hasn’t been a storm in days? :( even called line just ran, like it was busy. No notice on instagram about being closed too. Hard to take a break with a 1 years old to eat. Had to scramble to find an alternative place. Bad experience for sure.

This place gets 1 star only bcz it was clean with a nice ambiance. The pastrami sandwich was trash. It was all bread & packed with mayonnaise. I only tasted the fat off the pastrami bcz that's all it was. To top it off the sandwich wasn't even cut in half. I guess to make it look bigger.

I ordered a Melt pastrami sandwich with French fries. The fries came with a special sauce. I know people love mustard, but I just used the special sauce on the sandwich, and it was amazing! I didn’t even have time to take a picture—I ate everything!
The food is outstanding and I went back today because these weirdo reviews.. Targeting a small business owner over politics is crrrazy weird.The sandwich is a 10 as good if not better pastrami as Katz and perfect ratio for $10 ! Got a nice spread not just because it’s absolutely delicious but also because these people are sad and frustrated with their own miserable existence . Keep doing your thing product speaks for itself!
The audacity of the owner to call customers lowlives. Would never visit this establishment after such disgusting behavior

Wish I could give no stars. Workers were rude. Messed up our order so we called and the owner told us it was our fault and we hit the wrong button. Then we open up the food that was WRONG because we were gonna just eat it and forget about it until we found a big hair laying across the whole thing. He accused us of that too. NEVER GO HERE !!
