Went for my first time here for Valentine dinner. We scored a 4:45pm reservation and arrived on time and place was 25% full at that time. The Server noted that the kitchen was requesting apps and food selections at same time. We completed our order and I ordered the branzino special and my partner ordered salmon. Entrees arrived and my fish was basically RAW! like someone forgot to cook it. I immediately called over a different server walking by and they took the dish away. Our server came back to apologize and then someone else showed up to note that the dish would be right out (I assume she was some type of management). The place was still not filled and you think they would rush the order. NOPE. Took what seemed like 15 minutes and my partner had to choose to not eat her salmon and then eat it cold OR eat without me and then I eat solo. They deliver my fish and it is cooked well and flavored well. Then we get the dessert menu and we decide to just take check. I was surprised on a $130 bill that there was no mention of a discount or manager comp for the disrupted Valentine Dinner. They failed to make an effort to compensate for their error.

Food, drinks and ambiance are all great, we started with the buffalo chicken dip and barbecue wings and both were great and enough to share with a group of four. The southwestern salad and burgers were delicious. Service was good.

The service our waiter Anthony was amazing and on our table without issues. Food was amazing. I had the Berkshire Pork chop and it was tender as butter. Highly recommend Rustic root.

Restaurant was nicely lit, the tables had just the right distance between them. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. The food and drinks were served in a timely manner. Everything was prepare exactly how we requested. Everything was wonderful, will definetly return!
Food was delicious, but what made the experience even better was our server Fatima. She was excellent!

My friend and I had a 5:30 pm reservation. The Hostess, Jess, was absolutely welcoming and sweet! We shared the Steak Frites - NY strip steak was cooked nicely medium & tender. Salad with the pickled onions, radish, & vinaigrette was delicious. Replaced the regular fries w/ sweet potato fries (which were one of the best I've had). We were politely asked to move to the bar if we wanted to stay, which was asked less than 2 hours of stay. I understand there are other reservations to follow - 2 hours would have been enjoyable! Love the ambiance, vibe, and staff were attentive!:)

We had been regulars at Rustic Root when they first opened. At that time the food was excellent. They had some amazing dishes. We had heard they changed ownership a while back. We gave it a try and sadly it was not the same. First off we always loved the cornbread. It was baked in a cast iron skillet drizzled with honey at the very end. Delicious lots of flavor. We ordered the cornbread last night expecting the same thing and sadly it was a wedge of dry cornbread with no flavor. $12 for a wedge of cornbread seemed a bit much for what it was too. Flavorless and dry. I ordered the short ribs. It came with 2 hunks of short ribs over mushroom risotto. The first hunk of short ribs were tough, not fork tender. The second was fine, however both were dry. You could tell they were not soaking in the juices and sauce which you would expect from short ribs. The mushroom risotto was good. My husband had a burger which was just ok. Sadly I don't think we will be back. It is not the restaurant it originally was.

We had a great time, a gathering for 5 long time friends to celebrate the holidays. We ordered coffee at the end of our meal and 5 minutes later, I assume it was the manager, came over to our table and stated we were here longer than 2 hours and they needed the table. I totally understand that, however it wasn't stated when the reservation was made and it was extremely frustrating that no one said that when we ordered our coffee. So none of us were able to drink our coffee, that we paid for, so it turned a very nice experience into one that was quite rude.
