A fun place for lunch and dinner. I was a bit hesitant bring my son who is 3yo, because you just never know if he's having a good day or bad day. But I decided to take the risk and bring him on a mini date because there's only so many visits this mommy can take to Chik-fil-A and it turned out great. He was on his good behavior and tried the mushroom risotto, which I told him was cheesy rice with my short rib and he has a cheese burger and fries. They did forget to put cheese on his burger which he was quick to point out but that was a quick fix, the staff was quick to melt a slice of cheese on his burger and brought it back out quick. My only semi-compliant was a side was small sweet potato smash was $12 which was the same cost of his burger and fries. Otherwise, everything was great, staff was attentive and we had a fun time. The food was very good, I think I would go back to try some of their other items. Thanks Rustic Root.

OMG the burger here. I'm always happy when I get a burger and it's just so delicious. Came here on a rainy Saturday night with our boy, who loved his pasta, while we enjoyed our burgers. Fries were good too and we want to come back for the truffle fries. Service was great, enjoyed my mocktail :) Ambiance was great, really nice place. In a nice shopping center and a carvel closeby as we headed home :P

It was my second time here. Sat at the bar the first time and it was great. This time I decided to sit at a table to get the full experience. When we entered the hostess seems to be answering the phone and placing people at the same time. M. She also look mad for some odd reason. Place was empty for the most part and My wife wanted to sit at the booth so I asked if we can be placed there where she obliged. Once we sat down I realized they had the air conditioner on. It's still winter and the day was going to be 60 degrees. But no reason for air conditioner to be on. The waitress was a very nice person and was able to get it shut off for me for about 20 mins. Then they turned it back on. My fault for thinking it would be warm in a restaurant via the winter time. Food was good, apps are phenomenal at this place and food is good. We had the corn bread which is so good. And the artichoke dip. Then my wife had pasta, I forgot which one but that as also good. I had for the second time the Montauk fluke. Phenomenal. Then we had the the brownie for dessert. I felt like it was dry. Overall I felt like the first time sitting at the bar dealing with the food and bar, I had such a better feel / experience and the food was phenomenal that day. We essentially had the same thing twice.

This is a solid choice on the north shore of Long Island. It's a relatively small spot in the corner of a strip mall but don't write it off based on location. The inside is cozy with dim yet adequate lighting. The corner round booth is great for parties of 6 and they do have booth seating around the perimeter of the space. Great for people like me that don't like to be seated in the middle of the room. They recently revamped their menu so we decided to return to try some of the new items. Cocktail menu is adequate and the drinks we tried were good. Food was solid. Service was friendly. The only issue we had was that our entrees arrived while we were still solidly in the middle of enjoying our appetizers. I'm not sure if the entrees were fired in error or if they were actually trying to rush us. Either way, our entrees sat for a bit while we tried to finish the three apps that we had ordered. No apologies from waitstaff who oddly stopped to ask how our meals were when we very obviously hadn't even tried them. They did allow an outside cake for no extra charge but not only did they did not cut, they did not provide us with a utensil to cut it ourselves. We used a spoon and it worked out just fine. We had an early reservation (515pm) and it was relatively quiet when we arrived. By the time that we left around 730pm, the atmosphere was much livelier and every table was taken.

2nd time here in the last month, I was craving the same dinner I had the first time, and it delivered again! Don't sleep on the roasted cauliflower entree! Every component is cooked to perfection and well seasoned. French onion soup is solid too. Service delightful; warm inviting vibe. Oh, and that graham cracker cake dessert.... Amazing! Looking forward to next time!

My daughter and I had a delicious lunch with warm delicious flavors which were also healthy and well prepared. She had the chicken burger which was moist and flavorful and my cauliflower was scrumptious. So satisfying!! A nice warm meal accompanied by a drink to warm you up on a chilly day is the cider and cinnamon.
Everything was perfect! Britney our sever was great. Our food was absolutely delicious. Beet salad, duck nachos, chicken pesto pizza and the Montauk fluke were all scrumptious! Loved my drink The Notebook too! Great dinner as always !
Went here for Valentine's Day and I couldn't have been more happy. Everyone was so wonderful and the food was delicious. 12/10 would recommend. This is honestly my new favorite spot on the island.

Good food. But I could never forget the time I showed up for my reservation a a few mins late and checked in. Then after checking in, the hostess seated another table of two who did not have a reservation and proceeded to tell me I was too late and had no tables available. I asked her if she just seated that table of two at our original table and she said yes. I was speechless, we checked in before they were seated. Incredibly rude and spiteful. Could never go back because of that.
