We were celebrating two birthdays and so we decided to go to Sage Bistro. I ordered the salmon zucchini croquettes which we loved. The sole was good and the spinach was excellent. The mashed potatoes could have been fluffier and light. My husband loved his linguine with mussels and the French dip was delicious according to my guests. The pumpkin bread pudding was my favorite... just perfect! The butternut squash soup had a wonderful flavor but was too rich for my taste and a bit too thick. All in all we had a very good time. *I studied culinary arts in college and cook many fine dishes myself so I tend to compare my cooking to the food we eat out so I may be more critical than most.

I wish this restaurant was closer to my residence as I would definitely eat here once a week! It's that good, everything was exceptional. French onion soup I had wanted to lick the bowl lol. The duck was perfection , can't wait to come back !

Bistro is local to where we live so we often go to this restaurant. The food is always good, I love the salmon and the grilled Bronzino. The service is very good and we always enjoy our dining experience here.

Our Sage House salad was delicious - all fresh and tasty ingredients!
For entrees, I thoroughly enjoyed the super tasty and fresh Frutti De Mer, In a delicious red sauce, this was a best ever, chunks of sole filet, mussels, the tenderest Calamari, and clams. Simply delicious, and with a basket of bread to help soak up all that delicious sauce!!!
My other half enjoyed the Cacio y Pepi - Super tasty, another great choice!
For dessert, Profiteroles - a puff pastry with ice cream in the middle, served with chocolate sauce and fresh berries. Another great choice paired with a cup of hot, black coffee.

We had a couple of friends that came into town for the weekend so we elected to dine here. We were greeted and seated promptly. It was around 2pm and it was mainly occupied my much older folks. However, ambiance and decor was nice, tidy and clean and wait staff had a welcoming demeanor. Food was good as well.

Very disappointed this time. The appetizers looked and tasted like they had been sitting under a warming light for hours. The branzino smelled so bad that the waiter did not even put the plate down before I told him to take it back. How could you serve something that smelled so bad? The chicken was tasteless and the fruiti de mare looked horrible. Desserts were just as bad. Was it an "off" Saturday night or is the place going downhill?
