My go to pizza delivery spot. That is until their driver took it upon themselves to guilt me about tips. Don’t want to put up with it, which unfortunately means I’ll no longer be ordering sals :(

The service is very fast, I got two large pizzas in under 15minutes. Their food is amazing! So much variety. While some pizza shops also offer other foods, you can tell by the quality they truly only specialize in pizza. However, Sal’s food is good all around!
Today I ordered 6piece wings with fries, a calzone, a beef patty, and two Pepsi’s for the price of $28. Pretty good compared to other places.

I had my first taste of pizza at Sals when I was a 5 year old kid, back in the 60s. Truly a sweet memory going back here to visit. Long may you run.
I have been enjoying Sal's Pizza for the 12 years I have been living in Woodhaven. Great pizza, great delivery.

Ever since Sal passed away this place has sank.Whoever is in charge needs to change the staff. They argue right in front of you.The delivery staff is rude. I wanted to place an order and they start fighting I had to hang up. Debbie had it under control but since she left, the ones remaining from the old lady to the guys there are so unprofessional. Too bad it was a good place for pizza. Now it’s just ghetto.
The pizza is super crispy and super good. 100% best pizza in the neighborhood.

I’ve eaten in Sal’s since I was a kid, always great pizza. But the flavor has changed so much. They’re not using the same sauce! It tastes like can sauce. I wish them all the best though!

The food was okay, good for a quick lunch. The guy handling the meal was great. The lady at the counter was not nice when asking what was ordered and thought that I shorted her when two singles wouldn’t separate. No apology for her mistake.

Title: An Edible Time Capsule: My Childhood Pizza HavenReview:As a child growing up in Queens, New York, on 87th st on Jamaica At. the city's bustling streets were my playground and its pizza places, my second home. Among the many pizzerias I've sampled, one stands out as not only the best but also a significant part of my childhood - the name of which I hold close to my heart.Walking into this pizza place is like stepping into a time capsule, whisking me back to simpler times when life's biggest decisions were choosing a plain cheese slice or a slice of a Sicilian. The aroma of freshly baked dough, the sizzling symphony of melting cheese, and the tangy scent of tomato sauce colliding is an experience that never fails to evoke nostalgia. The pizzas where I remember - a perfect blend of chewy and crispy crust, generously laden with the freshest of ingredients. The cheese pulls away in long, glorious strands with each slice you take, testament to the love and care that goes into every pizza baked in their traditional stone ovens. But more than the pizza, it's the atmosphere that brings the memories flooding back. The warm and friendly staff, the faded black and white photographs adorning the walls, and the soft, ambient glow from the oven – everything about this place screams 'home'. The Italian atmosphere not just in the pizzeria, but the route the blocks of Jamaica Avenue.I've had the good fortune of sampling pizzas from around the many destinations, but none have come close to the experience this place offers. It's not just about the food, it's a heartfelt connection to my past. This isn't just a pizza place, it's a slice of my childhood, served fresh out of the oven. For authentic New York pizza experience, this is the place to be. Come for the pizza, stay for the memories. It's more than a meal, it's a journey back in time. Not sure if the original family owns it anymore! I moved when I was 12years old. I’m almost 45 now and it seems like it was yesterday and their Italian ice was my favorite during the summer time.

Authentic New York city pizza, large slices, thick New York accents. Nice selection of sodas and the eggplant Parm is heavily requested by my wife and son. Definitely our favorite local spot
Kid-friendliness: The people who work here love children, on more than one occasion my son was giving a lollipop.
