The food here is great — the bagels are fresh, the sandwiches are delicious, and the guys in the back really know what they’re doing. Unfortunately, the experience at the front counter brings it down. The women at the register are often unwelcoming, rude, and move at a slow pace, which makes ordering frustrating. It’s a shame because the kitchen staff clearly put care into their food, but the service up front doesn’t match that same energy.

Sandwiches and service is good !
I’ve been coming here for a while because they are “clean” and always wear gloves . But then I saw this one guy cleaning and then went ahead and use the same gloves to prepare my food .
Now I’m thinking do they ever change those gloves ? The owner should buy enough gloves to ensure that they change it everytime , especially they step away from the grill to do other staff.
The prices I pay there is prices I pay in Manhattan . I am not complaining about that . But for premium price , give us quality .
Encourage your worker to frequently change gloves ! Especially after doing other task or even stepping away from the grill area .
Look up norovirus and stay informed !

I visited on October 19. After purchasing coffee at Dunkin Donuts I needed a restroom which the hole in the wall Dunkin Donuts doesn't have. Thankfully, Bagels Plus right across the street does have a customer restroom. I ordered a toasted onion bagel with butter and a fresh fruit salad. Bagel was fresh and super oniony and the fruit salad was juicy and sweet. I just had a taste and froze it to eat later (see pics). When I emptied the container I was pleasantly surprised by how much fruit was packed into the container. Definitely worth $5 !!! Oh and the restroom was clean !!! If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely revisit and try their coffee as well.

This place is just good for a bagel with butter! Anything else ur getting ripped off, don't believe me look at the pictures ppl post about there Bacon, Egg& Cheese smh a disgrace and 1 thing about us NY we love ordering this JUST don't order it from it u will be disappointed with the LACK of everything! I ordered it and im astonish how they can serve this its like they give u half a egg or they buy small eggs smh. Coffee was horrible and cold as well. 2 girls in the front I didn't experience rudeness because I definitely would have told them where they can stick their food at lol so I think the pick and chose to be nasty with.

This place robs people! The girls who work there charge you for things without telling you. Many teachers are the school have told me its happened to then. I have let it go a few times the rudeness or attitudes. Today I grabbed a soup and put an extra bottom because it was hot and they charged a dollar. when I asked what that charge was for I told them I wasn't made aware and I gave them back the bottom. They refused to give me the dollar back. Both girls were extremely rude mind you I'm 8 months pregnate! They tried to say it's the owners and they do no refunds however they are charging for something that I did not ask or request or was even told. I will make sure that no one at my school goes there. I hope the owners see this. They can take the dollar since they need it so desperately but lost customers ! I have been there in the morning with the cooks have to do it all because staff doesn't show up or is late and have the worst characters ! It's pretty sad!

I would give this place 5 stars. The cooks/chefs are outstanding! They are always friendly and work hard to make sure the food is good. The cashiers are absolutely horrible! While there is a line, they stand and talk to each other and ignore customers. They have horrible attitudes, and have no customer service skills at all. They do not know how to treat their customers, it's like they are doing us a favor. They will even argue with you. Even a new customer asked me as I was leaving, "is it me, or do they have bad attitudes?" It really is a shame, because the cooks are absolutely the best, standing ovation for them...the cashiers..no!

Sandwiches used to be good until they made the BEC more bread than anything else. For the price, totally not worth it. On top of that, the service is not the best; the new cashiers have the worst attitude. Clearly, there has been a change in quality, which is such a shame since I was a frequent customer there. There’s definitely better places to get a good quality sandwich :)
