Went on a busy Sunday. Expect long waits, but friendly staff. Food is as expected, great. Authentic flavors wet the pallet, fill the tummy and warm the heart. Hostess was overwhelmed but smart, sweet and graceful.

Here’s a polished, natural-sounding rephrase while keeping the honest tone:
The food was really good, especially the BBQ..it was excellent. The wait time can be long, particularly on weekends, so plan accordingly. Their coffee and ampalaya for breakfast were standouts, and the sinigang salmon was also great. The halo-halo was decent, though not a highlight.

They were not joking about their portions! The fish and the pork were delicious. Felt like the money spent was way well worth it!

On a Friday evening, walked in and was seated right away for 2. Staff were friendly and loved that they sold merchandise there as well (I love to support the small businesses). Ordered the Lumpia Shanghai, Pancit Palabok, BBQ Chicken & Pork Meals with rice, and they provided one complimentary bowl of sinigang. The food was delicious: the bbq was succulent and juicy (not dry!), same with the palabok, not dry; and lumpia was also delicious (one note is because of the leaves it is served on, some lumpia became moist). The iced buko juice was sooooo yummy!!!! Friendly and attentive service by Chesca, Oliver & the gentleman wearing the Pogi shirt.

Went with family to try their platters! Definitely sent us back to the Philippines! 🇵🇭 Very accommodating staff is definitely a plus! Even the Filipino music! 🎶🎶🎶 We chose the Platter for 4 people and it's pretty adequate, just the right portions, it is worth the price i would say.. We had fresh lumpia for appetizer, and we all love the sauce! Overall it was a good experience and would definitely come back to try their other dishes!

Ihawan is so good, I went one week with my sister, and we came back the next week with the rest of our family.

We had the 6 people platter and weren't disappointed. We also shared an order of fried pork lumpia and the special, fresh lumpia they serve on the weekends. Everything was good, but the standouts were the tamarind soup, pork lumpia and lechon kawali.

I'm looking forward to returning very soon!

What can I say about the owner Jose. My daughter and I Google and came to eat and our flight back home was delayed 5 hours. He treated us like family. We will be back. God Bless you and your family Jose!!!

I'm certainly coming back again. Every plate shows signs of care. Many guests were present yet service remained attentive and the mood stayed pleasant. Workers delivered friendly service. The collected reviews represent this place well.

Ihawan was a wonderful opportunity to try Filipino cuisine and my first time! We got a large platter (meant for two people but fed 5 people adequately). It included a variety of meat and veggies, and was gorgeous and colorful! Every aspect of the platter had a unique flavor and felt fresh and well-seasoned. The staff was really welcoming, especially accommodating for our friend who is a vegetarian! Ranking a bit lower because of the atmosphere and interior design.

I frequent this Filipino restaurant because I absolutely love their Sizzling Salmon (with special sauce) as well as their Sizzling Steak. Whatever is in that ‘special sauce’ is quite addictive. These two dishes are pricey, though — salmon ($33), steak ($40) — but so worth it. They’re good for 2-3 people who have small appetites.

The service is topnotch. All the servers are attentive and proactive — they anticipate your needs and cater to them without being asked. We always receive 5-star service from this Filipino resto.

The vibe is also reminiscent of The Philippines. While dining, they play Original Pinoy Music (OPM) and Filipino artists are often featured.

Ihawan is always a good idea whenever you’re in the neighborhood.

This restaurant has been a Little Manila staple for 30 years and I love the family vibe and home like taste. The food is absolutely delicious! The Kare-kare is like a peanut butter curry with oxtail. I’ve never had anything like that before and it’s so mind blowing! It’s just become one of my faves! Yes, it’s just like that, and I’m in love! 😂

Wow! A hidden gem. The Pork BBQ (on a stick) is an absolute MUST with the citrus-y lemonade-like Iced Calamansi. Finish it off with the Avocado con Hielo dessert. That’s not to mention how friendly and accommodating EVERYONE was here. Will come back.

Authentic, clean, and most importantly, delicious. If you're looking for great Filipino food, look no further. Just for clarification, dining is on the second level.
