They try to be nice, but more perfunctory than sincere, and not consistent. The food? Typical Filipino cuisine and besically the same.

People should stop buying here if servers don't use gloves!!! I already called their attention before. I just don't get it! I wish someone would report them.

You will always cherish the people who care for you when you're unwell. I am truly grateful that every time I order food delivery from Kabayan Bistro and Lounge, they consistently follow my instructions and fulfill even the smallest requests. Beyond offering the most delicious Filipino delicacies and comfort foods, it’s the thoughtful little details that make all the difference. Maraming salamat po to my kababayan at Kabayan Bistro and Lounge for serving the Filipino community in New York with excellence, both in the meals they prepare and the exceptional customer service they provide. You truly are the best—a business that embodies excellence with a heart! I look forward to personally visiting soon to enjoy a meal at your restaurant and to say thank you in person for everything.

If you really love Philippines food, this place is an excellent homemade style. The Kaldereta beef was spectacular.

I went in and bought 4 tiny fried fish and they charge $3 for each, vegetable lumpia $2.25 each, a small vegetable dish, medium rice and i end up paying $30.! Outrageous

Don’t buy the kutsinta!!! Bought it for 7 dollars for 5 small pieces.. I don’t mind the price because I am craving for it. 😅 But the taste and texture is horrible, nowhere near or similar to an authentic kutsinta, disappointing! 😫😩

This store should be reported to heath department for poor handling of food and dirty surrounding not even sanitary aside from that stupid server that handle my food like garbage,I bought some spring rolls and this stupid guy just dump everything inside the bag all together with the sauce and as well as with other food that I bought
Stupid nasty dirty!!

It's a hit or miss. I buy from them.at least once a week but a few times they recycle leftover food and mix it with freshly cooked food. Happened to me a few times. I ordered a grilled pampano only to find it so rubbery and dry when I got home. It was obviously not grilled that day. Another time I bought okoy. Same thing you know right away that they just refried their leftover food from the previous day. So disappointing. Now I just order from Kabayan bistro. It's more expensive but at least what you get is freshly cooked.

My girlfriend and I came in for a few quick drinks and in the time we were there she was treat extremely poorly. Despite my gf still treating the staff kindly she was meat with rude behavior the moment we entered to the moment we left. If that doesn’t convince you the place was dirty and the food was mediocre at best.

Overall not bad! Very Filipino grocery store vibe and yummy and affordable eats. If you speak Tagalog it’d be fun to communicate. Staff all speak English though.
