I had the mini ube flan and hot latte so that's what I will be reviewing. The ube flan was delicious and paired well with the hot latte.

Looking for a creative new twist of classic Filipino pastries and desserts? Look no further located in Little Manila! Conveniently a few blocks from the 7 train, Purple Dough is a small young Filipino family-owned business that has been around before COVID. They make everything on location and their ube cup cakes and flan are so delicate and delicious! I also like that they make silvanas which is quite rare in the states. Everything is reasonably priced. They definitely are a gem in the neighborhood!
Whenever we’re craving for something sweet and Filipino, we think of this place. The ube leche flan is my favorite. They serve it warm and it always hits the spot. It’s a pretty innovative Filipino dessert.

Was in the neighborhood for some sweets and came across Purple Dough. I’m so happy I walked in! There were lots of options to choose from and I ended up getting assorted mini cupcakes to share with my family. They were so good! The service was great and everyone was so friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

The ube flan here is very good creamy, rich, and full of real ube flavor. The ube crinkle cookie was also excellent super soft, light, and not overly sweet, which made it easy to enjoy more than one. You can tell they use quality ingredients in everything they make. The service was friendly and welcoming too, which really adds to the whole experience. A great spot if you’re craving Filipino pastries or just something unique and delicious.

I wanted some halo halo and Purple Dough came up as a recommendation. This place did not disappoint! The Halo Halo was the right amount of creamy, icy, and sweet. I also really enjoyed the flan/ube cake, the flan is really creamy. Five stars!

Amazing crinkle cookies and cupcakes! Came for the ube cupcakes and cookies! We loved the banana cupcakes and Pandan coconut crinkle cookies! We will be back! What a wonderful atmosphere staff and owner!
I came here out of curiosity... When I walked in the smells were so inviting I had to try I was recommended the 1/2 flan 1/2 Ube cake simply amazing... Not too sweet but just perfect... The cake was moist fresh and served warm... Melted in my mouth!

I used to come here all the time, but after my last experience I’m done. I waited over 10 minutes for my ube cake jar while people after me got theirs. When I asked how much longer, the filipino owner’s wife snapped at me. Then her husband came out glaring, handed me my order, and accused me of being rude to his wife saying they didn’t have enough staff, like that was somehow my fault. All I did was ask a simple question! 😂
If this is how they treat paying customers, I have no reason to ever come back.

Decided to check out the neighborhood this afternoon and google new places nearby i hadn’t tried yet.
This place came up and was very highly rated - I can see why!
The interior is beautiful with plenty of seating and a scenic portion with a flower wall.
I was greeted by two lovely gentleman who have some of the absolute best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Answered all of my questions with a smile even though I showed up almost right when they opened.
I saw the flan was mentioned a few times in the reviews so I gave it a shot. Wow was I blown away. The flan/ube combo works so well together. Hats off to this team for creativity.
Between the decor, lovely attitude, and great food you have earned another customer.
