Quiet and unassuming spot. Planned to eat merienda and was surprised with how big the servings were. The taste is spot on— it brings you lots of childhood memories (much like that nostalgic scene at that Pixar movie, Ratatouille)

Tables and chairs can be updated but the vibe is truly Pinoy. Reminds you of a school cafe in your old Filipino university.

Food tasty but service very poor. I didn’t have high expectations for the service since it’s a casual home kitchen style setting but there was two servers for less than 15 people and it was impossible to get their attention to get a menu, ask about a drink that never arrived, and 10 mins waiting just to pay. First advice would be to have menus on the table and give water immediately.

I had the special sizzler which was good and didn’t get a dessert because...

I always get the Sisig and shanghai lumpiang at Renee's. The restaurant is homey and frequented by locals. Only issue is the lack of ventilation so you'll smell like grilled meats.
