Food is amazing and the service is even better. The owner seems to really care about his business. Chicken had a subtle kick which was the perfect spice level. I will definitely be back for another iftaar.

I got lamb over rice at Shah's Halal Food cart on 46th Street yesterday for lunch a little before 1pm. I ate it as soon as I got it. Then I had diarrhea for the next 8 hours. The food tasted fine, but clearly something was off. I suspect the food went bad, or it wasn't hot enough (when I get other halal cart food, the food is HOT, but this was just lukewarm). NEVER AGAIN.EDIT: I asked in a neighborhood group, and several of my neighbors have had the same issues from eating their food.

I came to try out the food first time. Told the person I wanted a plater and combo with rice. Another employee was making a online order or something in front of the person that was making my food. They stared at me without saying anything getting to toppings I’ve pointed to lettuce and some cut vegetables. And then said, can you put the same sauces that your coworker put on the order before mines. Which I saw was a red and white sauce. The worker then proceeded to put dark brown color sauce on my food. I proceeded to ask her if that was what was put in the order before mine and the response was, I don’t know. Then proceeded to stare at me again not communicating any way how to proceed to solve problem. I felt like if I asked her to make me a new one, I would be offending her ability to make a plater. So I told her I would buy it so she wouldn’t have to make another one. Then she proceeded to ask me what to do. So I paid $13 for not hurting somebody’s feelings. Now that I got this off my chest I feel better, but I probably won’t come back to eat here.

I bought a chicken over rice and they charged me $10 because I paid with card. So how much is the fee? Nobody told me anything about it, otherwise I would pay with cash. And the food was so dry and taste wasn’t good at all.

Horrible, ordered on Uber eats and just got a plate of dry rice with a tiny amount of meat. No sauce or any other ingredients... Waste.I also called the number mentioned in the other reviews and it goes no where. A shame that that is how they do business...

When you get the “buy one get one free” on Uber eats they give you less food. Hence the pictures . I ordered chicken over rice and I got random pieces of lamb. It’s like that don’t care just cause it’s buy one get one free. If you don’t like it then don’t offer it. Second time this has happened. Terrible and disgusting that I have random pieces of other food in my order.

Very Disappointed with the falafel – lacked the flavor, smashed texture , the topping is white sauce , no tomato or pickles… you can call this anything except falafel , Not worth the $7 …. Suggest the owners of the truck to omit falafel from their menu as they ruin the reputation of falafels.., I didn’t try anything else just the falafel and my review based on it
