The food here is always great! Prices are ok, and they now accept credit cards! Their tables in the backyard are a delight, with a small fountain and floral decorations, making it a relaxing experience.
Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian menu ;)

Not fancy, this place just serves up classic authentic Thai dishes in a nice no frills spot. The menu is the size of a book so it can be daunting to choose but everything we got was extremely solid, full of flavor and a decent amount of heat (which we requested). Among my favorites was the pork neck, which I absolutely love but can be hard to find, and the papaya salad which was really fresh. Just a note, they close a bit early at 8:30 and they mean it so you don’t want to arrive much past 7:30.

Straightforward neighborhood spot for Thai meals. Friendly staff. The coconut ice cream is pretty refreshing.

Loved the food and the outdoor garden. Service was definitely rushed for no good reason. They put the check on the table as the last plate was being picked up. We were there for only an hour. We weren’t even done with our bottle of sake.

The quality is going down a bit particularly with the goods that they have on the shelves and in the fridge. The desserts are often rotten and I just paid $7 for pork rinds which after eating, are clearly very old and expired as they had zero crunch. I've been going here for almost 20 years and in prior years they were more careful to maintain freshness, but that is no longer the case. I don't like the feeling of being nickle and dimed out of $25 worth of desserts and snacks, just because they have no problem selling old, expired food.

I like this place, especially the Thai omelette—it’s the best I’ve had in NYC. However, I’ve had some unpleasant experiences with the service, and one recent visit was the worst. We arrived around 8:15, and were told they close at 8:30, so our first order would be the last. We agreed and thanked them for seating us.
But then, the waitress came over with an attitude, reminding us we had only four minutes left, repeatedly tapping her pen on her paper and rushing us. It was incredibly unprofessional. When we were looking at salads, she insisted on two specific options, saying they were the most popular, and continued to rush us. The service was so bad, it was shocking. To make matters worse, a new customer arrived after 9 PM, and they didn’t rush him at all. It makes me think there’s something off about this place.

We walked in at 7:40pm and the staff immediately started harassing us that the kitchen closes at 8pm and we had to be out by 8:30. We had barely sat down when we were pressured to order. It was super stressful and made for the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in NYC in my 25 years here. The dish I ordered looked like it was heated up in a microwave and I came down with food poisoning the next day. Been a week and still not feeling well.
Been here before but will never go again.
