If you wish to experience authentic Bhutanese food in New York, Weekender is the place to go. They had everything bhutanese, the food and the vibes. I've had momos in few different countries but they served us the best momos. Highly recommend this place, if anyone want to try Himalayan food from the kingdom of Bhutan.

Food was really great and unique! We got the spicy dried beef with cheese and it was definitely a dish with flavor profiles we’d never tried before. Suja tea was good.
Note: It might look closed from the outside because the metal gates are always down, but it was open and there’s cool decor inside.

sikam paa all are fat, if some lean meat some fat it is acceptable, but all fat pork actually NOT tasty, usually the dried pork are big and pretty long , usually I order delivery and cut by myself into small pieces and recently I order this it is all fat, I would say you should be control
the food quality and quantity of fat

First time trying Bhutanese cuisine. It was a unique experience. The cuisine is salty in nature. Recommend trying cheese based items.

I love the new renovation, and food is a good representation of Bhutanese cuisine. However, recently changes to momo and datsi has been subpar food. I think they definitely changed their cook. lol
Very authentic Bhutanese cuisine. Great chance to experience unique flavor profiles. The Suja Tea was salty and buttery. The chili and cheese had a creamy and savory sauce that contrasted with the spicy/bitter crunchy chilis. It pairs well with the rice or buckwheat noodles. The spice and bitterness might not be for everyone. The beef momos were nice and savory with a chewy skin. Service was friendly and relatively quick.
Food was excellent and spicy, just how we like it! Had a highchair for our very loud toddler, and were very accomodating. Very relaxed service. Came on a weekday evening, plenty of open tables.

If there is a mistake in a workplace, there is a shocking mistake in this workplace. I deliver food orders from this company. When I went to this company, they looked at me and said that this meal would be ready in 3 minutes and that I could take it. However, the meal was ready in 15 minutes. The issue is not that the meal was prepared in 15 minutes. However, the fact that people lie and that the workplace is nice as far as you can see proves that these people and this workplace are in the wrong place.
Super unassuming place. And it was pretty empty when we went for lunch on a Saturday. The menu is simple enough with only a few variations of the same thing.
Started with the momo. This really set the bar for this meal that was ultimately not met, as the momos were great. Amazing texture. The dipping sauce is no joke spicy. One of the better momos I've had.
For mains, we got the sun-dried beef with cheese and the pork ribs. The pork ribs I found a bit boring and didn't find the flavoring really that impactful. Came off the bone nicely but didn't work well with the rice. I much preferred the beef/cheese. I can absolutely see people finding this to be too salty (especially the cheese), so the rice is a must. But it's a nice portion and I enjoyed the beef. What ruined this a little bit for me was when we were debating what kind of cheese this was thinking maybe it was a more exotic cheese and asked the waitress, her response was that not only did she not know but that she thought it was maybe white American (it...cannot have been...).
Worth trying but the menu wasn't big enough to warrant going back.
Bhutanese cuisine which will give you a finger licking experience in the heart of New York

It’s def worth trying it I am sure you won’t be disappointed! The restaurant is big and perfect for some quiet space or privacy. Perfect for dates as well.
Vegetarian options: They got a lot of vegetarian option with pumpkin soup, mushroom with cheese and a lot of other vegetables with cheese or soup style
