If you wish to experience authentic Bhutanese food in New York, Weekender is the place to go. They had everything bhutanese, the food and the vibes. I've had momos in few different countries but they served us the best momos. Highly recommend this place, if anyone want to try Himalayan food from the kingdom of Bhutan.

Food was really great and unique! We got the spicy dried beef with cheese and it was definitely a dish with flavor profiles we’d never tried before. Suja tea was good.

Note: It might look closed from the outside because the metal gates are always down, but it was open and there’s cool decor inside.

I love the new renovation, and food is a good representation of Bhutanese cuisine. However, recently changes to momo and datsi has been subpar food. I think they definitely changed their cook. lol
