I’ve tried nepali khana in almost every Nepali restaurants, this place serves the best one in New York City hands down. The owner himself is the chef and you can just taste the passion in his cooking. My go to is Dry Pork. Too good.

Unpredictable food in terms of freshness.

The food was okay. I was not given the option to select tip. They took 20% as a default tip themselves. I won't go back again. No value for money.

This restaurant has a great aesthetic and a really nice vibe, but I wasn't very impressed with the food. We ordered pork chhoila and a deep-fried whole fish. The pork was spicy and flavorful, but the fish was bland and a bit chewy. Authentic Nepali fried fish should have a more robust flavor profile with hints of Szechuan and ginger, but this one fell short. We probably won't be coming back.

I got the butter chicken and first of all it tasted mid, second of all they gave us like 5 small pieces of chicken in a big black box and it was very disappointing. They also put the naas inside with the rice and chicken and it turned soggy. The naan was more like roti than naan. Anywayd you’re better off ordering from an indian place if you want indian food. Oh and the mango lassi just tasted like a yogurt drink that’s watered down. It’s so bad and i’m so disappointed.

Disliked the mutton sekuwa very gamey taste, almost stale chicken lollipop, below average badam sadeko, it’s annoying putting time and energy to eat somewhere and get below average tasting food served.

Chatpate was good but it was lacking some spicy kicks. The momo wrapper was too thick I didn’t like it much. Also, the veg chowmein didn’t taste good:(

Honestly, my only real complaint about this place is that the name is kind of misleading. We walked in thinking it was just a cafe, but it's actually a Nepalese/Tibetan restaurant and bar. We actually love that food so it worked out, but it threw us for a loop. The lighting is very low so it creates a certain ambiance, that felt kind of weird during the day as we were eating there around 2 PM.But the food was great, served friendly, and overall the experience was good. I would go here again.

I just have the worst butter chicken and garlic naan. Never in my life I had so thick garlic naan. Well these are my go to order since it’s a basic food but not any more. I just hate the taste. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ❌
