You might not look here as a first thought for where to find the best chef in Woodstock, but this is where to find him… Chef Alex absolutely kills it! There’s two other entrees at high end restaurants that I would put on par with his cooking- maybe. Absolutely bonkers.
Great people, incredible food, and a fire pit. You can’t go wrong.
Great food. Great music. A really nice outdoor space. The inside space is very small and crowded. But, that's where the band was. We ended up sitting outside next to the fire and listened from there. Overall a nice place. I will go back again.
This is an amazing local bar and the food is great and they have nice friendly bartenders. I had the Spring Rolls last night and they were excellent. They have good music playing as well
I went down to bearsville theater with some friends to see a show so we decided to eat down there to tinker Street tavern. Great company. Excellent drinks. An outstanding food. One of the best burgers I tasted in a very long time. Good quality. If you're ever in the area, do stop by
Best Bar food anywhere. Another level of quality. Massive recommendation to stop here when in Woodstock,NY.
Our favorite bar on this side of the hudson. We love coming for the Monday night celtic sessions and sometimes just have a casual drink and play some pool. Happy to have a neighborhood pub in town.
Alex & team are absolutely incredible! The ambiance, the service, the staff. This is one the best hidden gems in Bearsville! DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS SPOT!
Came to tinker St tavern after having a less than ideal experience at another place in town. Tinker st has a great vibe and friendly and attentive staff. The burger and Brussels sprouts were amazing. Solid Guinness pour. And best of all - DOGS!
Great evening of music. Nice people.

Went here to watch the football game because our cabin had no tv. You have to go outside to order food from a different vendor; very small menu but tasty and fine for what we needed.
The bar was walk up and order rather than table service - very casual with lots of area outside as well.

Loved this bar! In town for the Todd Rundgren show at the adjacent Bearsville Theater and this was perfect for a couple of cocktails before the show, we really liked the vibe, music, & people. I could see hangin' here on any non-show night *if* I lived closer.
One thing: they had a drink menu that actually had a Boulevardier on it, impressive I thought. However, they listed it as a Bourbon based drink and it most definitely is NOT made with Bourbon as it is a RYE drink. So this prompted a quick & fun discussion with the woman bartending & running the busy bar, and she didn't disagree and ran through a list of Rye Whiskeys that they had in stock, could easily make this (properly) with Rye. Nice knowledge of whiskeys, obviously a pro bartender, though I didn't get the impression that this would be communicated to those that may give a crap enough to fix it, she was just busy with running her bar and she was really great at it. Funny thing, the guy on the next barstool ordered a Rye and he also agreed that Bourbon is definitely not part of a Boulevardier, maybe an option if you don't want Rye, though that drink is NOT a Bourbon drink.
Anyway, still loved the place, the bartender, the vibe, & hope to return whenever we're back in Woodstock. I just think that a bar (they're in the cocktail & spirits business after all) shouldn't incorrectly list cocktails on their own menu. I mean, you wouldn't make a Mule with Gin, would you? Wouldn't make a Rusty Nail or Rob Roy with Bourbon, would you?

While on our anniversary vacation, my partner & I stopped at the Tinker st Tavern and had a great experience! Not only was the food amazing but, the gentleman serving us was phenomenal. He was incredibly sociable and even provided us with a list of local places to check out, which we later used when finding a restaurant for our anniversary dinner! There was also a group of local musicians playing/practicing, which providing the best atmosphere! This place is a must go and we cannot wait to go back the next time we're in the area!
