I would never recommend this restaurant.
Bartender Ben and his personality is the only good thing about the place. The food is overpriced for what you get and even then the service is very much lacking in so many ways. The restaurant has a nasty odor that bowls you over the second you walk in and the entire place needs a good cleaning.
If you can withstand all that, the noise from the bar ruins your whole dining experience. The place has no right to call itself a restaurant but should tell you what you’re really walking into. A BAR THAT SERVES MEDIOCRE BAR FOOD AT BEST.

10 years ago we used to love going to this place. Unfortunately it really declined. The last few times were not good. We decided to give it another go about 2 weeks ago. It was a Friday night. We walked in and it was a little busy waitresses and the waiter were running around. There was two people behind the bar. We stood there for a few minutes. Never even got greeted. I considered walking out and I wish I had. A waiter took our drink order and I asked him which appetizer he recommended. I'm not sure what he said as I could not understand him. He came back and I asked again. He said they are all good. A few minutes later a waitress comes over and said there was some confusion about whose table was whose or whatever and she would be taking care of us. She was very friendly and very nice. And the place was decorated so beautifully as always For Christmas. We had the steamers, and the calamari. The steamers were huge Chewy and gritty had absolutely no flavor. Unfortunately the calamari was undercooked. I really wanted the prime rib as it's my favorite thing to order but the last two times I had it it was not good. So I decided on a hot open roast beef with a side of mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were cold. It's so unfortunate because this place is so nostalgic and beautiful. I heard that there is new owners. I went on their Facebook page and there is no postings for like 3 years. My boyfriend had the Ruben and he enjoyed his sandwich. Like I said 10 plus years ago we would dine in weekly but unfortunately things started to go downhill and I've given it try after try after try. Now we will try some of the other local restaurants.

We ordered two burgers for take out. According to the menu on Google, the total was $21. The bill came to $37 cash. My husband was told they automatically add in a tip. I realize prices may have increased since the menu was posted, but they didn't give my husband as receipt so i don't know why we paid so much. The food was fine, burgers cooked a little too long, but that's okay. What I don't get is why should I be charged a tip? They sold me their product (lunch), I drove there and picked it up. No one waited on me. That alone will keep us from going back.

$38 for two cheeseburger deluxe’s plus tip. I would expect a true gourmet burger for that price. Instead they were dry and tasteless. Must have been a bad day.
