“the red dot kitchen has incredible food and such a cute, comforting vibe!! it is very aesthetic and perfect for a cozy lunch. the vegan protein burrito was perfect and packed with flavor, and the "mother’s smoothie" (rose water, yogurt, and beet/carrot juice) was delicious!! to top it off, the staff was incredibly sweet and randomly gave us free bananas on our way out! i love the vibe here so much and can't wait to come back! <3 🌱”

“What a wonderful find! We are from NYC and have a home in the Catskills, we found Giovanni’s by chance a few years ago and have been coming here ever since. In the Summer they open the outdoor garden for dining and on Wednesday night Giovanni makes amazing personal pizza’s to order from his brick oven, not only great pizza but entertaining to watch Giovanni at work. We are never disappointed in the food or portions, I live his veal parmigiana, tender, not too cheesy and melts in your mouth. The mussels marinara are amazing served with garlic bread for sopping! The lasagne is great as well, meaty in a wonderful tomato sauce. We have never been disappointed! Great service as well. The atmosphere is real mountain lodge, cozy and informal. Plenty of parking outside. The best part is the price, dinner for 4, with wine/ drinks, about $35/ person, very reasonable.”

The young man Hayden always makes you feel better with his smile as he greets you and takes your order, working the phones, and a number of other duties. With a smile on his face. I think the entire staff and owners are very nice and take time out to chat, even when super busy The entire staff are amazing. I highly recommend trying their food. It’s such an amazing experience that you won’t like other Chinese restaurants.”

“I already like hot dogs, but this place really elevates them and somehow made me love them even more! The creativity with the toppings and flavor combinations is so good.

But the slider?! OMG. I originally came for the hot dogs, but I overheard someone order a slider and noticed a few other people eating them, so I decided to try one too. Easily one of the best sliders I’ve ever had. It was incredibly juicy, flavorful, and so good that I had to order another one to take home!

The owner was also super nice and personable. He took the time to explain the thought process behind each hot dog and even shared the story of how he came to New York, which made the experience even better.

My only complaint is that it’s a 2–3 hour drive from me, because otherwise I’d definitely become a regular!”

“I always enjoy visiting Christopher Jacobs Winery at Pennings Vineyard. My fiancee and I often make the hour long trip to experience the warm and welcoming environment created by the owners, Chris and Monica. We have attended many fun events in both the summer and fall. The property is very versatile; you can take in a Hudson Valley sunset while watching live music from the outdoor patio or play board games with your kids in the indoor tasting room. The wines are rich and full of flavor. We always look forward to our next visit whether it’s with our friends, co-workers, or other wine enthusiasts.”

“I went to outbacks for the steak special on 3/23 that I seen on TV for $14 baked potatoes salad or soup & cheese cake the server said not here its 19$ then also I didn't know the restaurant offered a senior discount I just saw it on my phone to give my review why is the special only in certain cutbacks? That's mis-¹ representation the proce should be the same in all Outback Restaurants im 80 years old and I should of been aware in the restaurant of a senior discount by the way I enjoyed the dinner”

“Really cool little spot. Staff was attentive and the beer was of course, excellent. What I didn’t expect was to be blown away by the BBQ! Ribs, brisket the works. We had our pup so we sat outside where they’re allowed on the patio, nice summer evening. Great time will be back!”

Great location to grab a cuppa for me after the kids browse the library, and every cup gets a stamp on their frequency card so every 10th cup is free. so much better than moldy coffee from franchised spots.”

We chatted about the history of this type of venue in Middletown and how to survive. He gets it. While chatting, his head was on a swivel, watching his guests and crew. Rob spoke so highly about his crew, you would think they were family. I am so glad I went and enjoyed the family atmosphere. Well done team!!”
