I could not find any fault in my dinner at Giovanni’s last night. The service was TOP tier and the food was amazing. We went with a large party of 9 and the staff catered to our every need, despite a full dining room when we arrived.

We had everything pizza night had to offer: clams, mussels, antipasto, pizzas of all kinds and a few desserts.
Every single item was perfection! (And trust me, we are big foodies and have eaten at almost everywhere local and beyond)

I ate my entire sausage and arugula pie by myself with no shame.
By the end of the meal I asked my husband why he “doesn’t bring me there once a week” ha!

It’s a lovely family restaurant with unique decor that gives you that true old school- Inn-feeling.
Great job by the whole team!

My husband and I went to giovanni's on pizza night. The pizza was okay. Could have been better. The service is always great, I asked for just a little bit of soda, not a full glass They came back with a full glass of soda. I told the girl that's not what I ordered. I just wanted a little bit just to wash down the rest of my pizza. She said, this is what they gave me when I got my check. I was very surprised to see they charged me for a.Refill. I did not even drink the . I took a sip, literally a sip and left the rest of the soda and got charged . I work in the restaurant industry. I have never charged my guess for A Refill, even if they drink four or five drinks never do I charge for a refill. Needless to say was very disappointed next time I'll bring my own soda.

A hidden gem in upstate! We stumbled upon Giovanni's Inn on Google during our double date staycation and were blown away. The cozy atmosphere set the tone for a lovely evening, and the service was warm and attentive. But the real star was the food - absolutely delicious! Our dinner experience was a wonderful surprise, and we left feeling full and content. If you're in the area, don't miss this charming spot! 4.5/5 stars!

Very disappointing. I’ve been here before and thought very highly of them. Not so anymore. Calamari was the smallest I’ve ever had. Very bland chicken Marsala with a speck of pasta with it. Shrimp fra diavola was not good, couldn’t eat most of the muscles with again a minuscule amount of pasta. Won’t be going here again.

One of the best meals we have had in a long time! Authentic, homemade Italian was def worth the wait!

If you are looking for some authentic Italian food and disconnecting from the world, this is the best place to visit.

The chef himself ( Giovanni ), takes a round around the restaurant to talk to guests. He prepares everything by himself. The food is super authentic and the staff is very friendly.

Chicken Marsala - 9/10
Egg plant parmesan - 10/10 ( Please make sure you specify that you need spaghetti by the side )
Sautéed broccoli with Garlic - 10/10
Italian Risotto cake - 9/10

Giovanni‘s inn is quite a unique and kitschy place went there for dinner with my love and we had an excellent time soon as we walked in we greeted warmly. The atmosphere almost has a hunting club/Woody design almost like an old backwoods , Italian restaurant , even though we did not make a reservation, which you have that option we were seated immediately. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and continually checked on us. We had the mushroom ravioli, the shrimp Parmesan it’s spaghetti and for dessert we had lemon blueberry mascarpone cake, and mini cannolis. It was all so delightful. The atmosphere is Amber and Rich with conversation and good feelings the food was excellent and the owner and the cooking staff would even come out and were friendly and talk to everyone. A very family, friendly vibe definitely love the quaintness of this place a must try.

Kid-friendliness: I did not see a kids menu, but they were definitely children as young as five years old they’re eating.

My friends and I were there for one of the last "pizza nights" of the season. And oh wow, the mushroom pie was absolutely the tastiest pizza I've ever had. I'm not kidding as I'm spoiled by NYC pizza places which are supposed to be the best in the world. I stand corrected and I think the pizza chef is Giovanni himself. Fantastico!

Our friends highly recommended this restaurant to us, so we went on our 3 months wedding anniversary :DIt’s so small and we passed it…..but it’s really a hidden gem. We love the warm environment, indoor and outdoor. Afternoon we saw the wood fire brick oven, we totally fell in love with this restaurant. We ordered the salad and mussels as appetizer. Well, salad was salad, good salad, but still just salad. Mussels are really good, yummy yummy. But, wait, what we love the most is pizza!! After we ordered two pizza: margarita and customized topping pizza, we even ordered another to go because they were so so so good. And finally, house made cheese cake and Bumba (do I spell right?) as desserts….perfect.Since we went on Wednesday, there was only pizza available. We’d like to go back again on other days to try their other foods.Anyway, they have the best pizza we have ever had in Orange County, no, in NYS, no, in the States so far (Note: I have been to 40 out of 50 states so far). So, highly highly recommended.
