Absolutely love this place. The service is so friendly and the vibes are so good. The owner is a good human and the flavors are out of this world! The cherry on top is the playground, gardens and seating under the trees! If I could give it more stars I would!
I drove out of my way to try Moxie’s in Wynantskill because I was excited about the Tahitian vanilla, a flavor I’d heard great things about. Even though there are several ice cream places closer, I made the trip. When I asked for a kiddie cone, (which is a super small portition) I was told, “I’m saving that,” and was instead recommended a different vanilla. The way it was handled felt dismissive and made it seem like my request wasn’t worth the effort.
Apparently, the flavor was being reserved for some “around the world” sampler. That is not how you treat paying customers who make the effort to visit your business. It left a bad taste in my mouth before I even got any ice cream.
Amazing homemade gourmet ice cream. Many Many Varieties. Something for Everyone. Right in my own backyard. Ms.Pam does incredible work.
Home made ice cream. Great for a stop after dinner or on the way home from being out. Bit pricey, but the ice cream is worth it.
Great ice cream choices. And no tip jar, so refreshing.
Wonderful variety of ice cream! I have yet to find a flavor I don’t like. The best times to visit are on days like International Ice Cream Day, since there’s lots of activities going on that are family friendly. If you ride: the roads to Moxie’s are nice.
Almost forgot: cash only.
Delicious homemade ice cream. Super yummy, extrea creamy, ice cream, with a wide selection of non-traditional flavors. Don't get me wrong, you'll find traditional flavors, too. It's a little off the beaten path, but it's definitely worth the drive.
BRING CASH!!! Pulling up I thought it was a very cute ice cream shop with a great playground for families with kids. They do have a large selection of unique ice cream flavors, but they’re missing the staple ones (cookies and cream, cookie dough, etc). We taste tested a few flavors and ordered but ended up disappointed in the small scoop sizes for the price. We go to A LOT of ice cream shops and they weren’t very decent sized scoops at all. And, after ordering, somebody walked up behind us and said “oh it’s cash only.” Which was a shock to us as we’d already ordered and didn’t realize this. Thankfully I was able to find some in the car; however with their overwhelming amount of hand written signs with flavors etc we missed the ONE small sign saying “cash only” on the window we didn’t even order at (there’s 4 windows to walk up to and it was on one furthest from the main parking lot). Overall - disappointed in this ice cream shop. I really wanted to love it, but there’s some other better ones in the Capital District.
Hands down the best ice cream in the region. We served it at our wedding
Amazing homemade icecream, so many great flavors to choose from!

Delicious ice cream, fun play ground the kids love it!
There's ice cream here you can get nowhere else. People who love vanilla as much as some love chocolate go there to try the sampler of exotic vanillas from around the world. The signature Blue Moon and sweet corn are amazing. They have all kinds of other interesting flavors and the normal ones, too.
If you are a foodie, you will not regret the trip. Best Ice Cream in the Capital Region. A hidden gem!
Too pricey
Just the best place to go for ice cream. Cash only. Kids order themselves and learn to ask politely. Great fun playground too
