Nathan's Famous for what?? $7.00 hotdogs , complete ripoff and tastes like lukewarm garbage. More like a Walmart hourderve!

Scandalous charged me $66 for two cheese steaks and one portions of fries never again daylight robbery. When asked how much the food was each as there was no prices the guy ignored me and served someone else.

Excellent positions of this Fast Food chain. The staff was friendly and helpful. Little cleanliness and food not living up to the name. We tasted the famous hot dogs but were not very satisfied with the quality of the food.

I was charged $12 after taxes for a side of barely edible french fries ! Never again save your money and go literally anywhere else for half the price.

Absolute scam of a place. I didn't have high hopes as they are carts in the middle of the street, but they're terrible tasting hotdogs, with barely a sliver of sauce and relish and they charge you upwards of $8 for that! Unimpressed. If you're gonna buy a NY hot dog, go literally anywhere else.

He just robed me He never gave me any receipt neither from his POS as he said that my card was rejected nor from his cash machine. It was my first time in New York and I got robbed by a hot dog seller ,that’s fine ! So I have paid 32 dollars for a very tasteful hot dog (only one ) he charged me twice 15.65& x 2 times ,paid by card and then by cash . When I returned back home and show the transaction by my card I’ve got it. Anyway …also my local friends have told me that 15.65$ for a simple hot dog and a hand of potato’s are quite a lot of money. F@ck them,I will take my money back whatever the way, the guy is in the attached 5th photo

We liked the hotdog itself, soft bread, delicious sausage, similar to a sausage. But it's too expensive. We paid 6 dollars for a roll with a sausage inside! Absurd. This hotdog is overpriced. But it's delicious. Tip: Walmart sells the same hotdog for 1.50. It is in the hot ready food sector (Marmitex, chicken, etc.).

I think the NYC street vendors just make up prices. No prices posted. $38 for 4 dogs and 2 sodas. Most all the street vendors don’t post prices.

Went on holiday to New York and found one of the Nathan's Hot Dog stands right by central park and close to Trump Towers. My girlfriend insisted we should try one for it being "Famous" and well-received. The price list was rubbed out, attendant was pretty grumpy and mumbling, and a combo of 2 hot dogs (1 with no sauce or toppings) and a small box of fries came to $20. The Hot Dogs were pretty tiny, like I expected double the size, and were cold on the first bite. The fries were ok, nothing special, just bland. After eating it all we still felt hungry and for the rest of the week my girlfriend told me how she regretted suggesting us even going to the stand. I'd honestly say this: Do yourself a favour and find a good diner. More expensive? With tip and drinks, yes. Better experience and value for money? So many times more! These hot dogs were just abysmal. I may be coming back to New York next year, but i'm definitely never trying Nathan's ever again.

It was OK l, nothing special. The hype is overrated for me. We ate better got dogs at other locations in New York and other cities

This place is ridiculous! A nightmare line, poor quality food and worst service ever. Really not recommended place even if you have your whole life to wait on the line. I cannot this places survive, we are all stupid!

Ok hot dogs. They give you your order pretty quickly. They're not amazing hot dogs but c'mon, they're from a cart in the middle of the street, they're ok and great value for money. The sausage tasted good, it was well cooked and overall just what I expected. We also had frieds but those needed more salt.

The three stars is only for the campy feel of Coney Island and the cool neon signs. Given, this was takeout during COVID 19, but the hotdog was burned in parts, and was pretty plain, the fries were super smashed and so greasy I only ate a couple, and the attendant gave me the wrong drink, even though I asked her if she had possibly made a mistake. Go here to say you did and for the nostalgia or the campy feel of Coney Island. Don’t go here because you want a good meal. It should be noted, Nathan’s serves clams, sandwiches, and more, so you’re not limited to just hotdogs.
