“Tonight was a really good reminder that sometimes the little things mean the most. Lucas and I had one of our favorite mommy/son dinner dates at the new "The Pizzeria" in Yaphank. Since being diagnosed with celiac and deciding to go dairy free for my health, I've wondered if some of our favorite traditions would have to change. I knew they offered a gluten-free crust, but after I ordered Lucas's slices, I asked a few questions. Vinny, who was working behind the counter, was incredible. He told me he'd been with the company for three years and knew they had a dairy-free sauce. When I told him my favorite slice was the Aunt Danielle (vodka sauce, pepperoni, stracciatella, fresh basil, and hot honey), he smiled and said, "Let's make you a dairy-free version on a gluten-free pie." It was even better than I imagined. Every bite was amazing. But what meant the most wasn't just the pizza. It was realizing I don't have to give up one of my favorite traditions with my son to take care of my health. Thank you, Vinny, for taking the time to help and for making someone with celiac feel seen instead of like an inconvenience. Acts of kindness like that make a bigger difference than you probably realize.”

“While traveling for my son’s baseball tournament in Yaphank, NY my family and friends stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant!! Everything from the food to the staff is incredible!! I highly recommend this place and so did everyone else we went with (we brought 15 people with us). Everyone cleaned their plate and these are not small portions! “The owners are great. Very pleasant to deal with. I've been going there since they bought it about 22 yrs ago. Their dinners are very good, you can't go wrong with the penne ala vodka and a side of sausage. Love the antipasti, garlic knots are to die for. The neopolitan and Sicilian pies are great. Love the sauce they make for the dinners and pies. The only complaint I have is that they go light on the pizza toppings. I'd like to see more sausage, pepperoni, etc on the pies, not a few slices sprinkled about. Now I'm thinking about pizza. Maybe tonight.”

“Very nice tavern with a big bar. Nice leather seating for dining, great service and games to play for entertainment such as a pool table and dartboard. Huge deck outside and with plenty of off street parking. I have yet to dine but i will soon. Then maybe ill give a 5 star review.”

“The drive threw moves really slow not sure if they dont have enough people during the day making drinks but I sat on the drive thru for one tea for 20 mins....add more people to make the beverages cause that seems to be the hold up. There should be enough people to make drinks whatever set up they have is not working”

“This is my favorite type of food, and this place is #1 in every way. The owner is very nice, great customer service, always asks if I'd like a sample. My go to is combo over rice with a chopped pita. Every piece of the dish is excellent and I can tell they put their heart and soul into the crafting of the dishes. I already love the place, but when I learned they do not use any seed oils (or any oil at all) along with whole-grain basmati rice, I decided to leave a review. This food is delicious and GOOD FOR YOU! Highly recommend 10/10.”
