“Busy place when we visited for weekday lunch. What a selection of sandwiches. Fast service, fresh ingredients, great tasting hand-helds. Even the small sides of fries & tots are large servings. Mostly take-out orders. Couple of tables in and couple out. It's going to take a while to sample even half of their extensive menu, but I look forward to it.”

“While traveling for my son’s baseball tournament in Yaphank, NY my family and friends stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant!! Everything from the food to the staff is incredible!! I highly recommend this place and so did everyone else we went with (we brought 15 people with us). Everyone cleaned their plate and these are not small portions! The food is extremely fresh and there is a great sense of pride in their product. We loved our experience here and we will absolutely return when we come back in August!!”

“I was on my way to a funeral. Most places were closing due to it being a holiday. but i had to stop for dress socks for the gathering . Knowing i wouldn’t have much time to eat ( and being celiac(gluten free)) it’s hard to find foods i can eat. I saw Charley’s had traditional on the bone wings. I figured eh. How bad can they be….. expect the unexpected. They tasted home cooked, juicy and full of flavor. If the taste wasn’t enough the young gentleman helping , Memoudou went above and beyond to make sure the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. I was welcomed and set off with kindness. It was also extremely refreshing to see someone young and so well mannered and in the moment, happy to be doing their job. 100/100”

“The owners are great. Very pleasant to deal with. I've been going there since they bought it about 22 yrs ago. Their dinners are very good, you can't go wrong with the penne ala vodka and a side of sausage. Love the antipasti, garlic knots are to die for. The neopolitan and Sicilian pies are great. Love the sauce they make for the dinners and pies. The only complaint I have is that they go light on the pizza toppings. I'd like to see more sausage, pepperoni, etc on the pies, not a few slices sprinkled about. Now I'm thinking about pizza. Maybe tonight.”

“Very nice tavern with a big bar. Nice leather seating for dining, great service and games to play for entertainment such as a pool table and dartboard. Huge deck outside and with plenty of off street parking. I have yet to dine but i will soon. Then maybe ill give a 5 star review.”

“The drive threw moves really slow not sure if they dont have enough people during the day making drinks but I sat on the drive thru for one tea for 20 mins....add more people to make the beverages cause that seems to be the hold up. There should be enough people to make drinks whatever set up they have is not working”

“We tried Taco Island Mexican Cantina in Mount Sinai for the first time tonight. We ordered the Fish Taco, Avacado Taco, Chicken Bacon Ranch Burrito, chips with homemade guac, and lastly the Pizza De Birria. The food was outstanding!! Honestly, it was some of the best Authentic Mexican food we have ever had. (Even our picky kids loved it) The employees were also super nice and brought us chips and sauces while we waited. After we ate they also brought us to go containers and a bag with a smile. 10 out of 10. Will return soon.”

“Always a pleasure! We’ve become regulars here since moving to the area a year ago. The owner is very friendly and always comes by to chat.

Highly recommend the borani banjan and phyllo feta bites as starters. The kabuli pulow with the lamb shank is always perfectly cooked, and good for sharing because it’s such a large dish. We recently tried their chicken kebabs, and the lemon potatoes were a surprise star- worth getting even as a side. All in all, come here for a warm, friendly experience with delicious Afghan and Greek food.”

It's the best chicken over rice I've ever had and I've had my fair share over the past 15 years from Manhattan, Queens, and Long Island. I always get the combo over rice and today I decided to try their kofta kebab. My mouth is in heaven LOL!! The food is absolutely delicious and flavorful; highly recommended!”

I am handicap, I use a walker and sometimes a wheelchair and your place is not accessible The ramp is steep and you cannot get to the rest rooms. I’m sure you don’t have many complaints regarding this issue, but I would love to be able to enjoy your tiki bar/ restaurant once again. Thank you !”

“What a spectacular hidden gem of a restaurant! I'll go anywhere for a good duck breast, this place absolutely delivered 110%. Right amount of char, the seasoning, and it was cooked to perfection. Smoked salmon and burrata apps were delicious. We couldn't be happier with the very attentive service, quaint atmosphere - and the food was really on point for such an unassuming location. Also, the hot rice pudding with golden raisins was fantastic, as close to grandmas recipe as I can remember coming across! Keep up the spectacular work!”
