the former rooneys is now the pub and the interior decor is basically the same but due to covid 19 the hours are cut a bit just like the menu which is limited but has enough choices to make a hungry person happy. the staff are mostly the same from before and service as always is very good. its wise to make a reservation and get a booth as each one has its own tv and pick the nfl game you want to see. the giant pretzel is very good, personal pizza is ok, soup is good , the baked chicken with potatoes is my fave but i must admit burgers and turkey sandwich aint bad either. its a shame what covid 19 has done to our country and seeing a semi empty pub on nfl sunday really stinks. p.s. please tip super good the staff work really hard .

The rotisserie chicken is served with cooked carrots broccoli and cauliflower - crisp but a little boring. It also comes with a roasted garlic head. Press the cloves sour of the head, mash them with your fork and use it to rub the chicken in. OUTSTANDING. Overall a very good disk. I've ordered it several times and enjoyed it each time.

They have the best sliders. All the food selections are good. Service is a little slow but the food is well worth the wait.

The service was excellent! The food was delicious. When the bus boy gave me water the water spilled on the table and an ice cube fell on the table. I asked if someone could clean it off and no one ever followed up.

Our party of five ordered one chili three burgers and a BLT. The chili had to be sent back twice because it was cold and the bacon in the BLT was not cooked. We told the waitress who sent over the manager who told us that the bacon was cooked but she would show the chef offered us another sandwich but we declined. When we got the bill the waitress said that we were only charged for the fries that came with the BLT which I thought was ridiculous because a BLT came with the fries anyway.Never again

Put order in at 8:22pm. Burger and soda. Took 20 minutes to get soda. Burger came at 9:06 pm after asking twice about it. Ordered burger medium well and it was. Waiter told me because it was medium well needed more tome to cook. Now he insulted my intelligence. 44 minutes for a burger. UNACCEPTABLE

Food was hot and delicious. Very small portion. Service on slow side. People who ordered after me received food way before me. The soda I ordered took about 15 minutes. Peeson two tables down ordered after me and received his soda almost immediately. Service was friendly but slow. Noise level on high side.

This place ain't so bad! Lots of haters but I'm not quite sure why?! The food is a tinge pricey for what it is, but it's in a casino, what do you expect? My BF and I have eaten here several times and always enjoyed the food. The burger in particular is pretty great - even with a side salad in lieu of fries and no bun I still enjoyed. They have a good variety too so most anyone can find something they'd like. Drinks aren't cheap but not terribly expensive either. Bartenders are always friendly and attentive. I really have no cause for complaints at all. I probably wouldn't go out of my way just to eat here but it is by far the best option at Empire City. I will be back for sure!

My table ordered both the BBQ/Thai wings and them things were slammin. The Crispy Chicken Sammich is banging. My girl said her bacon cheddar burger was delicious too. Drinks were def on point. Server is consistent and ensured we were good togo on every item. Just only wished they had more items on the menu for the 5th star. Would def revisit if I were to go back to Empire Casino. Renamed it “The Pub”

I give it two stars but only for the service - Carlos was great. The food, on the other hand was horrible. My boyfriend's Pub Burger was grossly over cooked and my Philly Cheesesteak didn't have steak at all, rather the "meat dust" that is scraped off the floor of a butcher shop. I will never go back.

Unfortunately, the menu selection is very limited while the cost is high. Much of the food has a bland taste. The hamburgers are either over-coked or raw. The soups leave much to be desired. The salads are made well with a variety of ingredients; even the side salad. The food portions are rather small; don't expect a full meal for many of the choices. Guests are much better off going to the food court. The prices are more reasonable, the choices are better, and the taste is right. The wait staff does a good job and they are friendly at Dan Rooneys, same for the Food Court.

Came here specifically for appetizers. The nachos were so cold with cold cheese. The fries were cold and the sauce was warm. Drinks were not served when requested upon ordering. Food was served 10 minutes later and no drinks still. The wings were rubbery but the sauce was good. Would not come back under any circumstances

I'm here at The Pub. I had an Impossible vegan burger with a side salad. The hostess had a great, friendly attitude. My server was dull (I tipped her accordingly). The burger was prepared perfectly, but the vegan cheese topping wasn't a winner. The side salad was great! Fresh, colorful, tasty....superb blue cheese dressing. The atmosphere catered to sports enthusiasts. There must be 30 or more televisions on every wall space. (Mixed tv sizes). The Pub is very clean......I'll be back!
