If you are short of 100% Puerto Rican food, this is your place. Exquisite food, delicious music and very good staff. Highly recommended! 👍😋
You can watch, hear, and dance bomba music Puertorriqueña first Thursday every month with Bomba Yo NY.

The food and service was absolutely AMAZING!!! My family and I are puertorican and we are sooo happy we found this restaurant right near our home in Yonkers. The food was delicious and tastes just like the real traditional puertorican food we grew up with. The owners are super nice and the service was excellent! We were able to speak to the owners about their history and how they decided to open their restaurant in rememberance of their mom, who taught them how to cook all these delicious dishes. The chef uses mostly natural ingredients in the food, and you can definitely taste the freshness! The drinks were also AMAZING and the music was great! They are so down to Earth and make you feel comfortable, and make you love the Puertorican culture even more! I went with my husband and mother in law and we had a wonderful time! We Will DEFINITELY be frequent customers! Thank you!!

The service was decent. But that's it. I was disappointed by the food served. I came based on the reviews. Maybe the items we had aren't the foods that best represent them. It's NOT ok to serve day old or older chicken. You can tell it was reheated from before. When you are paying the prices you are paying...THAT IS NOT OK! The pork chops were ok. The avocado salad my husband had was ok. My mother in law soup was bland. It just lacked depth. No effort. The alcapurrias were as you can see overly done. The rice and beans needed life. They tasted like the precooked beans that come in a can. Add culatro, some pumpkin, this is your opportunity to shine. When I tell you cuchofrito beans were better...they are and that's sad because most of them are mediocre at best. The bacalaitos were good. Now, if you go, order that. Do better. Just unacceptable.

Food was fresh and delicious - not over seasoned or overcooked. Servers were friendly and even though the restaurant was packed and we had to wait a bit the live Bomba music kept us smiling. Lovely little spot !

We had the most incredible dining experience at this authentic, family-owned Puerto Rican restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious—honestly, even better than some of the meals we’ve had in Puerto Rico! The arroz con gandules was simply divine; from the moment it touched your tongue, the aroma and flavors were inviting and mouthwatering. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the seasonings were spot on!
The pernil was juicy and tender, bursting with flavor, and the tostones were the perfect balance of crispy and soft—so fresh! We also had the bacalaito, which was meaty, crispy, and cooked to perfection. Every dish was a delightful taste of Puerto Rican home cooking.
Now, the service—hands down, the best service I’ve ever had in a restaurant! The chef personally came out to greet us, and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful, and kind. They shared stories about how their mother’s recipes inspire all of their dishes, and her beautiful picture hangs proudly on the wall. It truly felt like we were welcomed into their home.
I can’t wait to come back for brunch and their bottomless dinner—and I’m definitely bringing my entire family next time! This place is a gem, and I highly recommend it!

Cook, food, server, atmosphere & music was perfect. I actually got a little emotional bc the beans were freshly made and reminded me instantly of my mom's cooking. Chef Julio stepped out to greet and chat with us. Our server Alex was so attentive and sweet. This is now my new spot to visit often.

OMG I recommend this restaurant 100% The entire staff was very friendly with excellent service. And I have no words to describe the food that only reminded me of my childhood in Puerto Rico when my grandmother cooked. You have to try the surullitos and the alcapurias. The mofongo with chicken chicharron is delicious.
